well It's been a little over 3 months since my surgery and I have lost 29.5 pounds.... to find out today i'm pregnant don't know how far along yet, but after 4 EPT's and one at my gyn i'm definetly prego, i'm happy i'm sad it's just so much to deal with especially since 1. I've been trying for about 7-8 years and nothing I have a 9 year old boy, but no kids with my husband who is extremely happy. 2. I will be entering nursing school in September to study to become an LPN so I'm a little number right now. Oh and i went to my doctor and they tried taking some fluid out and couldn't so I have 6cc's in my band. My band was giving them a fight to remove fluid. I'm just feeling a little down.

Not all doctors disagree with this method of colon cleansing, I knew Rn's that also did colonics parttime. It's usually 6 months from what I was just told.

How long did you wait after having surgery to get a colonic, I mean a real one not a colon cleansing pill... I want to get one and use to get them before surgery but don't know how long I should wait. The place I use to go, is no longer in business. Any suggestions, Also can someone tell me how to fix this damn ticker!

hello everyone, It's has now been a week since surgery and I'm feeling great not at all hungry, but I am eating by the guidelines. haven't weighed myself yet waiting for my 2 week visit but I feel a difference in my jeans already. ok, I'm one day post op!!! Finally a bandester, i feel fine I opt for the new lap band AP. I'm glad with my decision. well fellow bandsters I made it to your world. :drool::thumbup:

Ok I have 2 days decide which band I wanna get and still can not make up my mind. I've done research on both bands the new lap band AP and Realize. Now the information that the Realize band website gives on the lap band is on the old lapband that didn't go around 360 degree it isn't on the new lapband AP. My doctor won't tell me which band to get he says they perform the same job. (pepsi to coke, or ford to a chevy). now from what I personally saw in the bands is that the realize band is softer and has a wider port, and the lapband AP is also soft not as soft as the realize but softer than the original one and has a smaller port that kind of sticks out a little. Can anyone give me a little advice that has the new lap band Ap and the realize band??? I didn't think this was going to be so hard!!!:rolleyes2::tongue:

Hello 2 fly guys, I have seen ur before and after pics while searching the site you do look awesome! can you find out the medical term for me regarding the tummy tuck also, which band did you opt for that is another headache realize or lap cant really decide. thanks in advance

thanks everyone, i just got really nervous I know I have to go through with this for me to turn back now after all I've been through would be really silly. One I have gerd, polycystic cyst border line diabete and high blood pressure(no meds though) I'm 254 and 33 hopefully my age would help with snapping my body back into shape. Thanks for all your replies and future ones. the count down begins 1 week left.

ok, my surgery is finally scheduled for April 27th which is next Monday. I was so hyped up until........ I saw a girl that had WLS she was around 300 lbs which is 50 lbs heavier than me. And she doesnt look good her skin is really hanging her butt looks like she needs a serious lift and I'm not exaggerating so some people that I know was like.... is that what you want to look like?? what are your feeling about the skin issue I mean I really don't have a couple of grand hanging around for cosmetic surgery and if I can't really wear what want because my skin is hanging then what is the sense??? please give some advice even if it is harsh. I can't stop thinking of these issues.:frown:

So I'm all ready for my surgery on October 6th, On September 11th out of all days I was sent to the emergency room with abdominal pain on my right side, I was admitted for 4 days come to find out I have a 10.5 cm Demroid cysts in my right ovary, Aint this a mess!!! I have to have surgery to remove the cysts, so my surgery was cancelled for Oct 6, I am so depressed right now but my surgeons office said that my approval is good for 6 months. has anyone dealt with this b4 someone pick up my sprits!! :w00t::thumbup::smile::cool2:

ok everything has been going smoothly, I was approved and have a surgery date for Oct 6th. But I still can't decide which band to go with:cursing: it is so aggravating I went on the website for the realize band and they compare the realize to the old lap band not the new lap band AP. Good marketing , so how do you decide has anyone gotten the new lap band AP? And how can you choose a band when their comparing it to a band that doctors are no longer using, if there using the lap band it is the AP not the old one, please someone relieve my stress levels. :sad:
