How long did you wait after having surgery to get a colonic, I mean a real one not a colon cleansing pill... I want to get one and use to get them before surgery but don't know how long I should wait. The place I use to go, is no longer in business. You should talk to your surgeon about that. The medical community really doesn't recommend colon cleansing.

Not all doctors disagree with this method of colon cleansing, I knew Rn's that also did colonics parttime. It's usually 6 months from what I was just told.
