  1. Thanks for sympathizing! I needed that. It's a long wait! --Amelia
  2. Hey, Kathy, thanks for getting back to me! I've been through all the extra stuff on the site. I've read about some experiences--both good and bad. I'm just nervous about my insurance company, BCBS, allowing me to have the surgery done. The waiting is killing me. I don't think that there's a diet or pill out there that I haven't tried or taken, and I'm soooo wanting this! Again, thanks for answering!
  3. I'm am hoping that my insurance is going to give me the go-ahead to have the surgery soon. I have been on every kind of weight loss gimick, tried every diet that's out there, and all I seem to do is lose alittle gain a lot. This has been going on since I was in 5th grade and I'm in my 40s now. I am so ready for a change that I can hardly stand myself. I've got a lot of questions so if anyone has some answers for me I'd surely appreciate it!
  4. I'm in Iowa looking forward to hopefully having a Lap Band next month, keeping my fingers crossed that my insurance will cover me. Dr. Glascock is who I'm hoping to have do it. I have so many questions about this I can't even think of one! If anyone has some answers, please share!
