Hi!

I'm in Iowa looking forward to hopefully having a Lap Band next month, keeping my fingers crossed that my insurance will cover me. Dr. Glascock is who I'm hoping to have do it. I have so many questions about this I can't even think of one! If anyone has some answers, please share!

Hi, Amelia and welcome to LBT! The first thing I would suggest you do is check out the FAQ section. There you will find answers to alot of your questions. The answers you can't find there, feel free to post and someone will get back with you in a snap.

Good luck!

Hey, Kathy, thanks for getting back to me! I've been through all the extra stuff on the site. I've read about some experiences--both good and bad. I'm just nervous about my insurance company, BCBS, allowing me to have the surgery done. The waiting is killing me. I don't think that there's a diet or pill out there that I haven't tried or taken, and I'm soooo wanting this! Again, thanks for answering!

Hi Amelia, and welcome. I feel for you, I understand waiting on the insurance can be the toughest, most nerve-wracking thing. Hopefully you will hear something soon, I have my fingers crossed for you!

Oh, yeah, waiting to hear back from the insurance co is hard! Hope you hear something this week!
