  1. Thank you for sharing your story SteveT74! You’ve done a great job! Kudos!
  2. Justineek they said your liver was fine during surgery? It’s so different depending on your surgeon. I read some people are on liquid diets! Mine is just low carb but was suggested I only do one week as opposed to two so I don’t fall below BMI.
  3. Did they use anything on them? Steri strips, glue, etc?
  4. Ill be going home the same day. Same as Colchabay. Where did you do yours at?
  5. Yes, I’m a self pay 30. Didn’t even attempt insurance.
  6. April 16th! I’m super excited!!
  7. I’ve heard of Prosper and United Medical Lending. I hope that helps!
  8. Interested in this as well. I have Beachbody on Demand but haven’t been consistent with it.
  9. I may order the Sweet Sweat band as it helps you sweat around your waist.
  10. Lol, I thought I was alone too! Yesterday I had pizza and wings. My mom keeps telling me to just enjoy myself before I’ll really have to limit it. I hope I’ll be able to grab control of the reigns when it’s diet time! ?
  11. @alwxla8 that’s me! I’m in full food mode...doing the food funerals before my diet which probably isn’t the best. ?‍♀️
  12. I’m self pay but anything I need the office is quick to call. Everything is scheduled and they keep up with emails and updates. Very happy so far.
  13. I read magnesium citrate is good to take for Bariatric patients as it also doubles as a supplement and is naturally occurring.
  14. I’m allowed to eat the day before and also my pre surgery diet is high protein not liquids.
  15. That’s how I feel! I’m 30 BMI and that’s the minimum. I’m actually just eating what I want right now and only going to do half the pre surgery timeframe diet so I don’t go under.
  16. Has anyone ever heard of someone not shrinking their liver? I don’t plan on doing the full two weeks as I’m afraid of falling below BMI to do surgery. I am right at the BMI to get it done.
  17. My date is April 16....congrats! I also will be traveling from where my surgery is to home and then for a family vacation. I know we should be mindful to keep walking as much as we can, stand, etc. I’m planning on making and packing ice cube trays of soups and what not to freeze and take for my trip and of course protein drinks.
  18. Hey girl! Just added you on both :)
  19. That’s such good news! I hear about a lot of stalls and I just am praying I’m steady with the weight loss. I think a lot of us have this fear of still not being able to lose the weight even after going through such drastic measures.
  20. It seems I’m reading a lot about people feeling very tired for a few weeks after surgery. I haven’t had mine yet so am not much help but am preparing myself to be exhausted post op. ? Hope you start to feel better soon!
  21. That’s a great question. I know I can get a shot as opposed to pills for one of mine and I think I might ask to convert.
  22. Hi! Question for the low end BMI people who got the sleeve. How has your weight loss been afterwards? Did you drop fast, slow, steady? I know everyone is different but kind of curious. Thank you for your feedback!
  23. April 16th for me! I’m going to Vegas for mine. I can’t wait!
  24. I’m glad you’ve had a great experience with them! Everything I have read has been nothing but positive. I’m so excited!!
