  2. I am going to be having sometime in the future waiting on approval from insurance, but I was wondering how long it is taking people to recover for RNY surgery.
  3. I am thinking it must be the milk. Have you tried cutting our lactose? I know that I am already lactose intolerant. I was that way before I had the sleeve done.

  5. I don't yet. I got to see the dr. On Thursday to talk more about it. It's nice to know that someone else has the same thoughts.

  7. I am a little nervous as well about having another surgery, but my acid reflux is highly manageable. I dont have any type of dumping syndrome, but my dr. Said that I didn't have any problem with the first surgery so I shouldn't have any problem after the bypass

  12. My Dr. Approve me for the gastric sleeve to the bypass surgery. I am so excited waiting on insurance now.
  13. I feel like time is just dragging on. I am so excited to get through my Endoscopy and the dr. Appt. To find out what is next. The tentative plan is to turn my sleeve into the RNY.

  17. It's getting closer and closer. I am hoping everything is going to go well and that I get approved for turning my sleeve into bypass.
  18. Girl, have it removed. Trust me you will feel better in the long run. I suffered for years and I had to have it emergency removed.
  19. I am hoping not to do that, but we will see. I am not quite sure what my insurance is going to request yet.
  20. I hear you. I am hoping to get my surgery done in the end of March or mid April. I haven't found the Dr. Appt. Overwhelmingly yet. I think I am just so excited that after Dr. Appt it's one step closer.
  21. Does anyone else feel like time goes by slowly when your waiting for your surgery date and other Dr. Appt.? I have a scheduled Endoscopy, but I feel like I am waiting FOREVER..
  22. What are some things that you would recommend to take to the hospital for surgery? I haven't got my date yet, but I want to be prepared.
