  1. I bought one too! Any positive message is welcome.
  2. Wow, I hope it is not that bad for you.
  3. I I am doing good. Definitely still learning. I find I can tolerate some foods sometime nd then the next day...they make me sick. However, overall pretty good. How are you doing TTAshton?
  4. I am in the Charlotte area and had surgery 2/25. From what I saw DS is not performed much here.
  5. That is so impressive! Congratulations!
  6. I could not stomach the protein shakes. I do add a protein scoop (30 grams of protein - non flavored ) into the Bariatric Pal hot chocolate. I can get in 45 grams of protein in an 8 oz. hot chocolate (which taste pretty decent)
  7. Oh no! I am thinking positive thoughts for you . I truly hope this is you last setback.
  8. Thank you, that looks really good!
  9. So sorry to read you are going through this. The first week I had to go back for two bags of IV’s one with extra vitamins added. Since then , I have been better. Not completely drained. I am definitely still tired and want to take naps every day but way better. I hope the IV’s help quickly. Please update us.
  10. I can understand. I am a 2/25 surgery too. Funny thing, if I eat something, I feel the appetite coming back but not for long. I am basically making it on protein soups and hot chocolate. Thank goodness for protein scoops! I don’t think I could come close to my protein goal on purées. I do have a new love for light Swiss laughing cow cheese!
  11. I started yesterday and made the ricotta bake. It tasted awesome and then I was up all night with an upset pouch! I think I need to ease into this purée thing. I will try cottage cheese tomorrow. Today is is a protein soup with a protein scoop added in. Good luck
  12. Thanks, I think I will try it.
  13. Just checking in, how are you feeling?
  14. Hmmm, I am not sure, what is in a green sauce?
  15. Today is The first day that I am allowed pureed food.
  16. Go Gaby! That is truly impressive. I go for my two week follow up on Wednesday! We shall see (fingers crossed)
  17. Thanks Gabybab! How is it going?
  18. Thanks at Gradycat, that looks really good!
  19. I am looking for a few simple puréed recipes. I just made the Shelly’s Ricotta bake and found a puréed chicken salad. I think I will probably be okay with eggs ricotta cheese and the two recipes. However, it is always nice to have options. Any suggestions are appreciated. I am attaching the recipes I previously discussed.
  20. I am two weeks out today also. Definitely still tired. I am just getting better at drinking liquids, hoping that will help.
  21. These stories are truly impressive! It is soo inspiring to keep being reminded that this is possible. We can do this.
  22. Congratulations, 20 pounds in 11 days does make you forget the pain!
  23. @ recidivist hoping you start healing quickly.
