I could not stomach the protein shakes. I do add a protein scoop (30 grams of protein - non flavored ) into the Bariatric Pal hot chocolate. I can get in 45 grams of protein in an 8 oz. hot chocolate (which taste pretty decent)

So sorry to read you are going through this. The first week I had to go back for two bags of IV’s one with extra vitamins added. Since then , I have been better. Not completely drained. I am definitely still tired and want to take naps every day but way better. I hope the IV’s help quickly. Please update us.- February 2019 weight loss buds
I can understand. I am a 2/25 surgery too. Funny thing, if I eat something, I feel the appetite coming back but not for long. I am basically making it on protein soups and hot chocolate. Thank goodness for protein scoops! I don’t think I could come close to my protein goal on purées. I do have a new love for light Swiss laughing cow cheese!- February 2019 weight loss buds

I am looking for a few simple puréed recipes. I just made the Shelly’s Ricotta bake and found a puréed chicken salad. I think I will probably be okay with eggs ricotta cheese and the two recipes. However, it is always nice to have options. Any suggestions are appreciated. I am attaching the recipes I previously discussed.- February 2019 weight loss buds
