Anyone Have March Surgery Date??
Yes, I'm cold all the time! I didn't think this would start until I lost a substantial amount of weight. I'm sitting here with two blankets and a shawl on and sleep with an electric blanket on at night.

Day 12 feeling really crappy
My surgery was on the 3rd also and like you, I haven't lost anything for several days. I've been tired and taken naps for the few days but otherwise feel ok. I'm think I'm tired simply because of the low calories (I'm still on full liquids only). Maybe this is just part of the healing process. It sounds like you're doing everything right. If you continue feeling run down or are concerned, I recommend to reach out to your care team. I hope you feel better soon!!

Little vent: spousal comments
I'm sorry he said that to you. He may be feeling a little insecure now that you've actually gone through with the procedure.

March 2020 Post-op Thread
Kristyle, thank you! I’m sure it seems like a no brainer and I know you’re right but I’m obsessing about it for some reason.

March 2020 Post-op Thread
I had my RNY on 3 March. I have little pain and can meet my water/protein goals just fine. My problem is I haven't moved my bowels yet and I'm beginning to worry. I'm taking Docusate and Miralax. How long does it normally take before the first poo after surgery?

Day 3 post op and can drink liquids so well it scares me
My surgery was 3/3 also. I've been able to meet my Protein and Water intake goals also. I've read that things change once we transition to regular foods in that we will be able to feel full.

Day 4, things seem so easy, now I'm worried
Congratulations! I'm on day three post-op and was wondering the same thing. I'm able to meet my protein and water intake goals. I've actually wondered if my surgeon performed the correct surgery (even checked my surgical notes to be sure). I've read that things change once we transition to regular foods in that we will be able to feel ful.

Gaining weight nearly 3 years post gastric bypass
Are you measuring your portions and tracking your food/calories? A big problem for me is letting that go and not realizing my portions are slowly growing.

Good News Today

V.A. Clinic Process
My surgery went well and I'm resting at home. Honestly, I don't feel nearly as bad as I expected I would.

I'm glad to hear you're doing so well! I hope I'll be able to drink water like you.
