  1. The last film I went to in theaters was A Star Is Born. PHENOMENAL film, and I would highly recommend it. If you want to watch something to distract you from food, though, I would give The Green Inferno a go. Or The Human Centipede series. They're such cute, wholesome films!
  2. I am going to be completely honest: for me personally, yes it has been hard. I still have cravings. I still want to eat like I used to. But what helps is I try to focus on the positive things - my clothes are fitting me better. People are commenting they can see the changes. Even if I don't see it yet, it's there. Just take it day by day, I have faith you can get through this.
  3. I had my surgery 12/12 as well! I am honestly not sure how I am doing, and it is still hard most days, but overall I think I am glad I did it.
  4. Broths, sugar free popsicles, and Jell-O made it bearable for me personally. I still struggle with wondering if I am truly hungry, or am I just still in the habit of wanting to eat just to eat. It does get better - stay strong, you can get through this!
  5. It was uncomfortable at first admitting it to my boss and HR. I'm not sure why - I almost felt guilty about doing it, like I was doing something wrong. But they both were pretty understanding. I told my coworkers as well, and they have all been fairly supportive. They ask how my progress is going, and whatnot, which is not nice. I personally would recommend just coming out and saying it. You don't have to go into detail, or elaborate on it. Give a simple answer, and leave it at that. They don't need to know all the details if you don't want them to.
