    Sexy librarian - I love it @ms.sss

And your moto jacket looks great with your animal print dress @GreenTealael & so talented to have made your dress too.

No animal print clothing but shoes I can do. Lol! Will these count?

Had some slim leg, mid thigh shorts on today actually @ms.sss. Went to take a photo after I visited my little nieces & nephews & realised that wearing white shirts to visit people with 8 dogs is not a good idea. My white shirts are covered in dog drool & dog dirt. Thank gracious for napisan! 😂😂😂

THEY COUNT! Love the zebra rendition and heel detailing - Gorgeous!

I only have one item in animal print: A sheer convertible high low dress I made for vacation and never wore 😭

Also here’s the light blush moto jacket. In just noticed that in some lighting situations it only looks cream colored

LOVE LOVE LOVE! OMG!!! This outfit is GORGEOUS on you. You made the dress!? Wow. Will you make me one - only a midi length... I don't have pretty legs like you. Seriously... this is a stunning look on you - I hope you'll find a place to wear it soon. Great Fall sensibility, too. It totally envelopes your to die for figure GT! The constructed jacket adds a nice contrast to the free flow. Thanks for sharing. Wow.

@Sophie7713...hey i like that black lantern sleeve top. Did i read correctly that is the top half of a dress? Are you wearing the dress underneath? Can we see it?????

I did a deep dive into my closet as well as the Kid's, and between the two of us, we don't have a single item of animal print clothing between us! Which is odd, since I feel like I should have, right???

All I got is this OOTD pic I posted last year wearing the Kid's elementary school Halloween costume (when she was in the 6th grade, lol). It's as close to animal print clothes as I can get:

    https://www.bariatricpal.com/gallery/image/96858-17-sep-2020/

@Drain84: looking sharp as usual. I expect nothing less from you!

The perfect opportunity to go do more shopping! Right? You definitely need an animal print in your wardrobe, ms.sss!!! This was the dress back when I was still losing at 135 pd - size 10/12. Have not done arm surgery yet. The skirt is at settled 118 - size 4/6.

Animal print shoes count too, for the fashion show! Fun.

Methinks someone should be wearing leg baring clothes more often! More shorts? More minisirts? Whatever, so long as you show off the gams.

Yes, definitely... A mini skirt with fish net stockings and a pair of your fabulous shoes!

Oh, how i love NOT being the biggest one in the room.

Can we see some clothes? My clothes porn addiction is second only to my food porn one…

ACTUALLY, I THINK we are all the tinniest in the room NOW! Well done everyone. We deserve that status after our serious commitments to a slimmer, healthier and happier lifestyle. I am so proud of us all. And, our personal achievements shared here. My hats off to you!

Oops... This was a short sleeve dress with a top over - got the skirt later. AND found this pic of the other ribbed dress when we were doing our clothes closet shows - Remember? I miss SillyKitty. :[ I need to wear it now that I am living in cooler climes!

A month of steroids for the asthma and I am back on track 🤪

I am on an animal print thing right now, but also love the color tones in this dress. It is from banana Republic and it is a heavier weight, satiny fabric, so smooth but not terribly flowy due to the weight of the fabric.

I still love this Moto jacket on you. The color is perfect. I have a vegan version in a pale blush but really I want this color 😍

Do you have a ribbed dress, too? DO MODEL for us... And, that pale blush jacket again - I want to borrow! I am wearing the Moto jacket and rib dress to a special baby shower and luncheon. Our wedding flower girl all grown up - and having her first baby girl. I have NEVER worn this outfit outside my closet or home as of yet. With Covid all events for the opportunity to wear FAB things cancelled! Until now. I'll still wear my mask (my first calculated risk after 19 months) since it is with a group of ladies - many I do not know. And, it's indoors. Oh boy! ...Had so much fun collecting things for her gift basket. These miniature outfits cracked me up! Arabesque - do you have a ribbed dress to model? Fun.

WOW! Our own Bond girl once again emerges. FABULOUS million dollar look for just $22. BUT the dress is made by the lovely in it. Could you even imagine wearing this a few years ago? I just love my lavender rib dress on sale last Spring. Never would have dreamed I could wear this style a mere 3 years ago... I adore my sleeve and so does my closet!

Took my 18 y.o. to their very first concert on 9/10/21 for an early birthday gift... went to see Between the Buried and me. Their all time favorite group.. (heavy metal). They just turned 18 this past weekend. We had a blast.

I purchased this outfit from hot topic back in August. Its a Junior's XL. And by the time I got to wear it, it was a bit large on me. But over the 30 day exchange period. But that's OK. I did go back to HT and buy another cute skirt to wear to Badflower in a couple of weeks...a junior size L. I cannot wait for that show because the following morning s my skin removal surgery !!

I tagged along with the Kid and her friend to a thrift store yesterday and came to the realization that I have been missing out on a whole supply of (cheap!!) wardrobe opportunities all these years!!!

Left the store with these gems that I am still amazed at the price I got them for. I love DEALS!!!!

Sooo...here's a OOTD photo dump of a sample of what I scored (sorry, not sorry, in advance for clogging this thread, lol)

    Find 1 & 2: tank top $5.00 high waisted 70's style jeans $12.00

You and your daughter would have loved our consignment shoppes in Palm Beach! I frequented them often finding some amazing belts AND some couture outfits never worn still with tags. ;]

Yeah, damn pleats. Love them but … That’s a lovely skirt, @Sophie7713. Would be worth the ironing torture I think. Especially love the white nail polish too.

How long will you be living in your temporary home & why a temporary residence? Are you building a new home or still looking for the perfect place for the three of you?

Oh my injury was a battle between a mandolin & a sweet potato & my thumb lost. They had to graft my skin back on. Silly thing to do but so limiting cause it was my dominant hand. God bless must nieces who took me to the hospital, did my washing, washed my hair, did some cooking for me.

Want to see a pxt of your new winter flats. These are my latest addition. Actually, that’s not true. There have been several other shoe purchases. Hello, my name is arabesque & I have a shoe addiction. 😉

Ooch! I do hope the sweet potato recipe was worth it... Glad you are on the mend now. Hail to the nieces! These shoes are beyond ADORABLE!!! So happy. The pink and burgundy look so pretty with your ivory porcelain skin. I concur with ms.sss - fantastic pedicure, too. Yes, we are researching possible lots and neighborhoods to rebuild our former home with a new regional styling. Met with builder and architect last week - as I concentrate on the interior design - space, lighting, electrical planning. Will incorporate existing furnishings. Fun! Your guest room will be ready, hopefully summer of 2022... the same goes for ms.sss and greenteal. It's definitely time for the reunion robbed of us by covid twice! ;[ I'll take shoe pics this weekend. Oh BTW, the movers commented to my husband - she sure likes chairs and shoes doesn't she!? ;]

Last night was Riverfire which concludes the month long Brisbane Festival - performances, street art, exhibitions, etc. Fireworks are always so glorious & appeal to the child inside. These are located along the river which meanders around the city, on floating barges, on bridges & tops of city buildings. Every vantage spot, apartment building or hotel along the river or with river views overflow with people watching the extravaganza all timed to music played by a local radio station. Thought you would enjoy a short burst.

VERY COOL! Thanks for sharing. Know what you mean by a pleated skirt. I LOVE this linen skort but it is a b***h to iron... I do love your black and white skirt with black T shirt AND sandals to die for! Looking gorgeous, as always. Missed out on the finger thing - hope all is well? Just ordered a great pair of hip, off white winter flats for trip in October. I think you'd approve!

  15. Hey fellow foodies! Back on the radar after a major move and settling into our new community. We are becoming acquainted with the area and enjoying some of the local cuisine. We are in a temporary rental home and not keen on the kitchen. Find it hard to get motivated to cook in it. Gas range, I liked electric. I really miss my island for prep and the bright happy sun drenched space. It's a bit dark and dreary in this kitchen. Dysfunctional layout, too... Any hooo, split the cobb salad with hubby Thursday. And, we shared pork chop dinner tonight. I ate ¼ of the meal. And, nibbled on this amazing banana pudding.

Today’s “breakfast” (at 1pm) and afternoon snack:

Breakfast sandwich mini sliders: french omelette, fried prosciutto, Gouda and avocado in a mini potato roll. I had one of the sliders (bread and all! One slider is about the size of a golf ball) 118 calories.

Prosciutto, gouda and cherries: 378 calories, ate it all

Been busy meal prepping today. Duxelles for omelettes, meatless no bean “meat” chili (made with TVP), salsa chicken, put another 2lbs of chicken in teriyaki marinade for tomorrow, roasted vegetables, ham and cheese egg muffins, and started salting some cucumbers for quick pickles. Had some of the chili for dinner and it’s SO good!

I had surgery about six weeks ago, and I seem to have lost my taste for food, so I'm reading this thread with great interest.

Before surgery, I loved to cook and I loved to eat. Now it seems that the only things I really enjoy are cottage cheese with pineapple and sugar free popsicles. On the good side, including the two-week pre-surgery diet I've lost 39 pounds.

I'm the meal-preparer in our house, and my wife comes back tomorrow night after a three week visit with her family. I need to figure out some things that we can both eat, because I don't want to prepare two separate meal plans.

Dave in Houston, you will regain your love for cooking and food again once you have lost the appropriate weight through each and all important phases needed for your long term success and well being. You will go through grief over some foods and portions you may have once loved, but may find no longer satisfying, digestible or best for your new health adventure. You might find great adventure and rewards in seeing food in a new light - experimenting and trying new recipes. I encourage you to continue on this thread going back to early on posts gaining invaluable information, encouragement and insight on others who have gone before you. I always loved salads before and after surgery but there were a few months salad was not the best choice at that time. 2 ½ years out salads are a staple and enjoyable as they once were but portions resized and evolving ingredients to keep things healthy and exciting! I do cook simpler now - but definitely not bland or unappealing. Some food types and drinks I simply did not re-introduce feeling them not to be the best choices for my nutritional needs and long term value. Congratulations on your journey and new adventure with food. Here is a sampling of new delectables I'm enjoying...

That looks really appetizing! Is the Tomato hollowed or whole with the salad on top?

It's actually a smaller Tomato and I carve out some of the center about ½ way using those pieces for a tossed salad later. chicken salad is pretty good in it, too! Also, two halves of small tomato with melted cheddar, swiss, parma etc. in the broiler browned is yummy with slice of roast beef, chicken thigh, ham Protein. BTW, hubby made you a mini strawberry rhubarb pie! ;]
