  1. What are you all eating in the mushie stage? I have heard that crackers are ok if they are soaked, and if you chew, chew, chew. Is this right? I am hearing a lot of people saying that what you can tolerate is different for everyone. I thought it was physically soft foods, but I have also heard people say that it is actually soft to digest foods? My dietician was very vague about "soft" foods. My Dr. said "soft" foods. that was over a week ago, and I really didn't think to ask him more about it! Help! :confused2:
  2. Banded 4-30-08 Yesterday I too had the problem with the painful feeling right under my bra line, belched all day. Was to the point of wanting the band out already! I finally passed the gas after an excruciating day, and last night for the first time I was able to sleep on my stomach with no pain, and today I feel like a different woman! I attributed it in part to the fact that yesterday was my first buzy day at work, and I had a 15 minute lunch break. I think I ate (drank) too much too quickly. all day I have been telling myself to slow down, and I feel much better. Gas is gone for whatever reason, either slower eating, or just finally passing what I needed to. Good Luck,
  3. My Dr. said liquids only too. I found a way to satisfy the salty, mashed potatoes urge. Cream of chicken, cream of brocoli, Blend it in the blender, to remove any chunks, and heat it up. It is a good alternative to the sweet shakes!
  4. I was banded on 4/30 and have had similar problems, My reflux, was just a feeling that something was comming up, I found that if I stayed upright for a while, and drank slower it helped. I haven't heard anything about the diarrhea.
