  1. So I've been trying to cut back my normal breakfast and get use to not eating a normal meal.. I'm pretty good at skipping breakfast but I know with the operation you need your protein intake... This is what I'm having for the next 3 months
  2. Sorry to hear that you got negativity... Congrats on your journey to get approved I know the struggle it took me 1 year exactly to get approved.. from initial consult to operation date
  3. Yeah.. I have close friends that I don't want to tell because it's been a while since they wanted to hang out.. Lol can't wait till Christmas and they see a whole difrent person
  4. I've been reading and reading ever since my primary recommended it back in Feb. 2018... I seen my Sleeve doctor on 4-19-18 and was approved this month.. It's just that my Dr said no need for dropping.. Thanks for the advise..
  5. So I'm having the sleeve done in August.. I have only told a few select friends and family members I told them to keep it hush hush... I haven't even shared it on social media it's been a long year to get done with all my pre test and labs in order to get approved.. Did you guys tell your FB friends yes or no......

  7. Have you tried Isopure zero carb protein... that's the one I finally was able to tolerate for more than one meal...
  8. Everyone is different and how did you do before surgery?.. Your body is probably still in save mode.. it's trying to adjust to the fewer calories and then it will do it's job and drop those pounds
  9. Congrats.. I just scheduled my surgery date for 8-2-19.. it's too hot in California I fear I would get dehydrated if I do it this month... and my son turns 2 in July I wouldn't want to miss his big day... so 2 weeks after his bday I'm going under
  10. Mine is from Tennessee and my Dr.. submitted in t hursday and I got the call on Monday saying I was approved... hope that helps

  12. Nice.. Yeah my surgeon said he could do it no matter.. He didn't say to loose weight but from what I have seen on this platform . A lot of people say they did some kind of prescribed diet... Thank you GradyCat

So I just got approved after a while year of doing test and labs.. my insurance wanted lots of reasons for me to get it.. like if being 36 with w weight of 540 was not enough and constant knee pain.. BUT I'm happy to say that it will happen in August reason being Ok I want to enjoy the summer and not get supper dehydrated during the summer months... My doctor said not to worry about losing weight but I want to make it as easy as can be for them how did you shrink your liver what kind of diet did you do 2 months before the sleeve
