3 months post OP and 5 weeks pregnant
Like my title says; I'm 3 months post OP and I'm almost 6 weeks pregnant. Has anyone ever find themselves or know someone who's been in this situation? Was the pregnancy successful? My surgeon said while they recommend waiting 12 to 18 months post OP before getting pregnant, it's not impossible to do. I wanna know what to look forward to..... thanks in advance guys!

Thanks. My first post op visit is on the January 7th, so I'll see what my body feels/looks like, and that would decide the conversation angle [emoji57]

Well@nursenays, I am right there with you. I am going through the exact thing, and I've been wondering if my surgery was a mistake, since it's not helping with my hunger issues. When did you have your surgery?

Choices of liquids
Yea, I would like to know that too. Because I see and hear people post up here that they drank 64ozs of water, I wanna know where all that went?? And how? When there's barely any room in there.....

OMG!!! [emoji33][emoji33][emoji33][emoji33][emoji33] I feel like they messed up somewhere during your original surgery in September, and then reduced you to all these torture. God bless you!

Friday is coming up fast... oh boy...yikes
Oh, ok gotcha! Was just worried about afterwards, cos my tastebuds and me are almost frenemies now, since they're rejecting the same protein shake I've been having preop and now they taste like s*** postop. Lol

Will do.... thanks!

Well it's good you're doing your best to prepare yourself for this major life change. Just as I was informed by my surgeon, your tastebuds may do a complete 180° on you, and all those postops nourishments you stocked up on, may end up tasting like something you've never had before. So just don't overdo them, until after your surgery, you can try them out one at a time, and see which of them you can tolerate. Best of luck to you though [emoji7]

Thank you so much @GreenTealeal, that really helped. Because I was starting to wonder if something was wrong with me, and I know it's not just reflux and definitely not only mental to me

Well, I think I know the difference between hunger and acid reflux. And besides the pain meds I was given, they gave me pepcid for heartburn, which I'm not having. I'm drinking a lot of premier protein meal replacement, but I'm still craving real foods. I mean it's only been 5 days since mine, so I plan to call them this week anyway to ask that [emoji57]

Almost time
You got this!!! [emoji1377]

Only few days in.....
Hello everyone, I'm new to this group. But I just had my gastric sleeve last Tuesday (the 18th), and while I'm still on liquid stages, my hunger level has definitely rose to an uncomfortable level. Anyone else had/have this experience?
