  1. There will be loose skin bc of how rapid the weight loss is. Start exercising and weight training as soon as you get cleared to. Also, lotion lotion lotion. Keep your skin moisturized. Other than that the rest is genetics...some people have great elasticity and others not. My skin is loose but I didn’t weight train right away...wish I did. I am now. I’m 44 as well. But ill take the loose skin over how big I got any day!!
  2. Hoping for fast healing for you. Let us know any updates
  3. Only way to get to her cystic and common bile duct is through surgery. They can’t access them through her throat.
  4. Found a bag of shelled pistachios but they aren’t chopped up but I can easily do that. Got the Light and Fit toasted coconut yogurt. Hoping they taste good together! If not they will be good eaten separately.
  5. Thank you. Looks like the same as the strawberry one. I’m going to change up the flavor and try it!
  6. I’m going to pick up some tomorrow when I go grocery shopping for the week. I know I’m not likely to crush the pistachios myself so I wanted to see if I could buy them chopped. I’ll ck on that too on sunday?
  7. Yum!! Do you chop up the pistachios or can you get them crushed? I recently saw a new flavor Light and Fit yogurt. It’s called Toasted Cocunut. I need to find out the sugars on it first but I was thinking about getting g that flavor instead of my usual strawberry and adding pistachios to it!
  8. Congrats!! That is awesome!!
  9. I hope you’re right!! I have a terrible sweet tooth and sometimes I’ll eat a yogurt to avoid the skittles or something else sugar. You seem to try new things while keeping it very healthy!! I love seeing what you post!
  10. I feel like yogurt is filling. I add raspberries and blackberries to mine too. Stays w me until lunchtime. But I’m also 7 mos post op so maybe that won’t be the case the further out I get.
  11. I’m sure you can if you go self pay.
  12. No dumping here either.
  13. No I don’t drink any. I was not a big drinker before my surgery so it wasn’t hard not to drink any after. Plus what I liked before was a Coors Light and I don’t do any carbonation at all since my surgery. I don’t miss it. To me it’s an awesome trade off. I’ll take losing a whole human being off of me to occasionally having a alcoholic beverage.
  14. Surgery was at 1pm. Stayed overnight and went home before noon the next day. I didn’t have any pain. Just sore. Welcome to the group!
  15. Except sweets....still a weakness I’m working on.
  16. Bc when you get liposuction it’s not from inside your abdomen. The fat inside there has a lot of vessels. When they lipo they are doing subcutaneous...they do not lipo inside the abdomen.
  17. I’m not sure if you can buy them individually-I’m sure you can but the grocery store has them four to a pack. So if you couldn’t find individual bottles then a four pack wouldn’t be too bad.
  18. Yes I had the sleeve as well. I had it in July if 2018. Sorry I didn’t see this til this morning. You are prob on your way or already at the hospital. Let us know how you are doing!! Welcome to the club!
  19. Are you doing sleeve or bypass?
  20. Have you tried premier protein chocolate?!i pour mine over ice. So good!
  21. BTW easy recovery. I was nauseous but I get sick from anesthesia. Little gas pain from CO2 they use to inflate your abdomen. But that clears up on its own. Recovery was a breeze!
  22. Good Luck tomorrow!! Let us know when you can how you’re doing!!
  23. Don’t scratch at them. Put lotion on them. It’s the healing process that’s making it itch.
  24. 60 pounds is great!!! Don’t discount that. It didn’t all come on in 8 mos so give it time to come back off. Now that you’re measuring, slowing down while eating etc maybe you will start to see more results in the scale. Meanwhile keep forging ahead. YOU CAN DO IT!???
