  4. Hello Peytonkr. That's exactly how I felt for dinner last night I couldn't wait to eat. I didnt care what was in that dish. Lol. If this is that bad I can only imagine how it will be postop. I can only have liquids for 2 weeks. I'll get through it but time can't go fast enough for me. How are you feeling? Are you back home? Are you eating solid foods yet? Hope all is well....
  5. Yeah I figured it will be easier as the days go on. Initially it was 14 days but I lost weight and they made it 10 days. After surgery it's only liquids for 2 weeks. Everyone is different as well as every surgeon so preop and postoperative meal plans seem to all be different. Good luck on Tuesday. I go in on the 14th. I can't wait it's been a long 10 months of preparation......

  16. Omg so happy to hear that. Everybody talks about the gas pain being horrific. That is the part that has me nervous. Other then that I'm excited to begin the journey it's been a long 10 months to get to this point. Where you able to take something for the constipation?

  22. You are very welcome I'm glad I could help. You are right there is no stopping you especially when you remember why you started your journey in the first place. Reach out anytime you feel like you need to?
  23. Hello. It's been a long 9 months for me as well. I started my journey in January with my first appointment with my surgeon. I think anytime someone has elective surgery there is always the question of are you doing the right thing. I just try to think of the positive things that brought me to this point. Losing weight, feeling better about myself, being able to do the things I use to do without pain, hopefully preventing future issues and diseases associated with being over weight etc. Everyones experience is their own you have to remember that. Just because something happened to them or they felt a way doesn't not mean that will happen to you. Maybe it's just that the long process derailed your excitement maybe or gave you time to second guess your self. I've had friends do this surgery and all I can say is it gave them their life back. They are half the person they were literally and have been living their best life ever since. With all this being said if you still feel conflicted maybe you should consider postponing your surgery in order to give this more thought and do some soul searching. This is after all a major decision and should be regarded as such. Otherwise good luck and congratulations on the 17th ?
