    Not me.
Work gets intense. And I have to be “on” physically and mentally bc if I lose focus for just a few seconds my lack of focus could result in dire consequences.

All in all, yesterday was a fairly low calorie day despite me not fasting.
Had a PP shake, then a handful of mixed nuts, then for the sake of speed (we don’t get any kind of scheduled breaks so I eat on the run-literally) I dumped a P3 thingie in some leftover salad.

If I’m generous, I prolly had about 600-700 calories, but it was enough.
I was getting hunger pains when I got home at 11:30, but I drank down a bottle of Water and was able to fall asleep with a combo of journaling/reading/ meditation before 1am.

Was able to sleep til almost 9am and now I’m within an hour of class, then I can grab a quick bite to break fast before I’ll need to go to work again.

Feeling strong, but I’ve had to drink 2 bottles of water since waking to get through a couple of hunger surges.

Everyone’s looking so great and glam!
My secret confession: I’m hopeless at glam and trust me... elegant ain’t anywhere in my bio either, so I’ve decided I’m going to embrace who I am and accept that I’m the gal who wears her hair in a messy ponytail 90% of the time and would probably wear nothing except workout clothes if I didn’t have a job that required professional clothing.
I don’t post here a lot anymore because my wardrobe is quite boring and uninspiring (it’s just smaller clothing than before, TBH)

So.... I’ve decided this week I’ll post a different OOTD in my workout gear.

    Love it Angie!

Okay, so here is my OOTD- workout style for Tuesday.

Love this top that I got off of ETSY, and today I will be hating on that magic circle.

Also, I’m thinking my 51yo old lady arms are looking fairly toned in spite of the extra skin hanging around.

Yesterday I planned to eat just one meal. I ate dinner at about 6:30 which was just about 30 minutes shy of 24 hours since my last meal. I did drink 2 large cups of coffee and plenty of Water. I ended up having a snack after the group meeting about 10 pm,so I am not sure it was really one meal, but I ended the day with only 774 calories consumed.
I went for a run yesterday morning!!! This was my first time since knee surgery 2 months ago to repair a torn meniscus. It went pretty good. I only ran 2 miles and I definitely did not push myself. I am a little sore but the knee feels ok. I ran then walked, then ran. I felt the pull to keep running like I used to and it felt so dang good. I am praying I can keep going with no pain.

I’m channeling my inner sheribear and wearing fun printed exercise pants. With the obnoxious pink shirt that doesn’t quite match 😂 And the pink hair. I’m going running in the woods after my dr appts. This morning, and somehow I think they’d find me if I got lost in this getup. These aren’t the shoes I’ll be wearing. My trail runners are bright green, but also covered in mud, so that tones it down a bit.

I’m a breast cancer survivor and I’m thinking I’m going to modify my tattoo to have a pink ribbon round through it with my year of diagnosis.

We all can Celebrate how awesome clothes make us feel now, but the most important boon we get is better health and quality of life.

My surgiversary is tomorrow. Knowing me I'll forget to hop on lol. It's been a great year, but I'm definitely at a standstill. I am not sure what the next move is... I guess really really paying attention to my food and maybe now introducing some exercise. I'm leaning more towards being vegan from being vegetarian... I'm going to see how that goes dietwise. I feel that maybe going vegan will actually help me with my Protein intake as it has to be more balanced in diet.
    Onwards and upwards!
edit: It says my surgery date was 5th on the sidebar, but I'm pretty sure it was 4th. I need to double check now haha.
edit again: nope - it WAS 5th Feb. ok, well I'm 2 days early.

This is me as well. There is a reason I don't post everyday. Cause most days, like today, I'm wearing some variation of sweats/leggings, t shirt & fuzzy socks. Today I went the extra mile and covered it all up w a fuzzy robe!

Again, I think the definition of “slow loser” is tough.

For example, I just looked over my weight logs for the first 6 months, and this is what I found: on AVERAGE I lost 2.69 pounds/week. I went from 246.0 to 176.6from February 6-August 6th.
Okay, so the first 2 weeks I lost 22 pounds, and I had several stall weeks, but it’s important to look at a several month range before rushing to judgement.
Since August 6th, I’ve lost an AVERAGE of 1.54 pounds/week.
    Went from 176.6 to 140.8

BTW, goal weight was 155, which I had hit in mid-October.

I’m waaaaaaay more proud of the loss after the first 6 months than I am of the initial losses.
Logically that shouldn’t hold, bc it’s more than a pound/week DECREASE, but those pounds had to come with harder work and really focusing on my plan and then working said plan

The actual numbers aren’t as important as HAVING A GOOD PLAN AND THEN WORKING THAT PLAN.
I’m not saying every day was a success.
Especially during the holidays, I had some hedonistic eating (and drinking days). I had one day in there that I know for a fact I DRANK over 2,000 calories in cocktails.
Overall though, it’s worked bc every day I wake with focus and intensity and that drinking day was actually something I had planned ahead of time, as weird as that sounds.
In short, when I’ve fallen off-plan, it was intentionally and not coming from a place of mental stress or getting caught up in the moment.

According to many people’s definition, I’m definitely a slow loser (<3 pounds/week ave even during the first 6 months) but I’m definitely a WLS “success”.
Here is a photo from this weekend: size 6 skinny jeans, and a size small top and I’m 5’7”.

So for all of you “slow” losers out there: keep up, keep fighting, don’t ever stop and don’t EVER stop working your plan.

    Hey peeps!
I’m going to do an 18 hour fast starting tonite.
I’m going to have dinner finished by 7pm my time and will eat again at 1pm Tuesday if anyone wants to join.
Typically I do 16:8 three to four times weekly, but I feel like mixing it up a bit.

    It’s all good.
Today wasn’t a good fasting option bc I’ve got a longer shift, and I got up way early to run, then go to Pilates.
By the time I got home around 10am, I was already feeling the deficient so I settled down with my coffee/protein shake.
Besides, today’s gonna be rough at work as we have a floater AND my lead tech is out with family issues. Not a good day to be cranky or hangry, so tomorrow we fast, lol

Okay, so weird tummy issues seem to be gone, and I’m finally back to my “normal” eating pattern

Finally got back on the scale this am and while I’m still in the 130’s, I didn’t drop this week like I was afraid I might after 2 days of limited calories.
Went from 137.6 to 137.8 so I’ll count that as a maintenance “victory”

So what are y’alls plans for the super bowl?

Today I’ve started an ab challenge, and plan to run on the TM for a half hour, then household prep to get ready for the week (why oh why can’t a laundry fairy decide to come live with me?) and then I’ll be talking to my BAC peeps tonite.

I’m not really a big NFL fan, so hubs and son will be watching, but we’re skipping the whole party thing and making it about what we want to do— not what pop culture thinks we should do.

My food for today will be completely typical:

Protein Shake for Breakfast, sensible lunch, then some leftover steak with salad and veg for dinner.
