Anyone else been single their whole life?
I hear you. I did have some relationships as a kid.. Have had a few casual "encounters" but nothing real or serious at all.. I really hope all this weight loss will help me gain confidence and meet someone before I'm 40 too.

ONEDERLAND I LOVE YOU - FINALLY ?
138 days or 20 weeks or 4 months 16 days. But I've been very strict from day 1 never gone off my plan at all. High protein. Very little carbs. Very low fat. No sugar unless it's like Stevia or equal. I do drink coffee everyday. Hard work.

Surgery itself 1-2hrs

Volume vs calories 6 weeks to 3 months out
That's counter intuitive to tell a person not to think of calories... You need to learn how to count calories for the long term.. Every single thing you consume has calories then you have to learn what calories are good or bad like carbs vs protein; if you don't understand the basics you will have issues. From day 1 I log every calorie everyday and that keeps me focused and to know what affects my weight positively or negatively.. Over time you have to figure out if you need to add calories or not depending on your activity levels and energy levels.

Caffeine?
Lol caffeine is known to curb your hunger. I drink coffee everyday and i used to drink energy drinks before surgery to keep me satisfied without needing food..

6mpo weight loss stopped?!
I'm only 10 weeks post op still mostly on shakes. Try not to go over 20g carbs. Around 500-600cal a day. No sugar. High protein. I'm not sure if I need to increase protein or calories or start exercise to help with those final kgs. You should find a local dietitian mate. Are you Australian?

Sleeve ba. bypass
Well depends on how much you need to lose. But from my experience I've been a quick loser with bypass and had zero issues since surgery over 2 months ago... Hardly feel hungry.. Within a week of surgery the Dr took me off multiple medications for diabetes and blood pressure.. All I need to take is multivitamins each day plus calcium and b12 no issues at all with that and the money I was spending on meds now goes to vitamins... Yes if you have any kind of reflux issues sleeve will more than likely make it worse. I've even seen ppl end up with reflux and gerd just from the sleeve...without any history of it.. Yes it is up to you though.

Frustrated with "I know someone who gained it all back" reactions

What's your approval process?
Sorry my internet is double posting today

What's your approval process?
If self pay then will be very quick. Some surgeons and insurance set numerous rules and regulations in my mind some are overbearing... I'm in Australia I have insurance with a co pay I got surgery within 3 months of 1st appt.

6mpo weight loss stopped?!
Sorry to hear that... I had my surgery Oct 28 at 116.5kg I'm currently 91.5kgs but my starting weight was 146kgs back in August... My weight came off quickly but now I'm stuck with little to no movement the past week... I'm a man 6ft tall so I need to be like 80-84kgs I think the last 10kgs will be the hardest!!! You'll have to look closely at your calories and carbs etc
