  1. While I do know itching is a sign of healing for an incision the rash is concerning. Hopefully you will find out why or what is causing the rash today.
  2. Ok so I just found this thread and I am going to jump on this I Am a Sept 24th bypass buddy. I would love to have someone to talk to who knows what I am going through. I had my surgery at St Josephs hospital in Syracuse NY. My surgeon was Dr Graber.
  3. I also had My surgery on Sept 24. My surgeon that day also had 5 other patients. They all went home the next day Tuesday. Not me I was in pain from being so bloated It hurt to move, or even breath. Everyone is different nobody's experience is the same because no two people have the exact body. I happened to have a lot of scar tissue from an old injury. My Dr said it could of played a role. I know I have a high tolerance for pain my body just needed that extra day. At one week out I feel like a whole new person. I'm sure you do also.
  4. I can totally sympathize with the weakness. What has helped me is Powerade. It tastes much better then Gatorade and it has B vitamins ( B3, B6 & B12) which helps with energy. It also helps with your Electrolytes. I have been drinking 1- 32 oz. bottle everyday along with 80oz. of water. I have found it really helps me. Just a thought. It is on my pre-op list of things to drink.
  5. Thank you That was great to watch.
  6. Hi everyone. I'm brand new here and need some good news stories. I will be having Gastric Bypass in 2 days. I chickened out 10 years ago I was afraid to not wake up from surgery. I had 3 young kids at the time. Anyway I am older now and my health is getting worse, I need to do this but I am nervous. Please just a little reassurance will go a long way.
