Less than 15 Hours to go
well, i am banded. i went through that phase of "why did I do this"?I went through that on day 2 . Day two was so so bad. I had to get my pain meds under control. I could not follow the every 4 hours. My tolerence for pain is really low. So Doc told me to take some motrin and the ainkillers every 3 hours. I felt so much better. So im 5 lbs down from preopt 303lbs now 298lbs. I am hapy I did it. and as the days go on i know it will get even better. Trying to get that 50 grams of proetin in thats another story.

3 days POST OP...WOW
Well, I was banded on May 13 at 10:15am. When I woke up everything was ok. my pain medication was working. i Slept most of day One. The second day I was scheduled to go home. They took me off the morphine pump and that began my spiral down. I went home day 2 at around 4:30pm. I got my pain meds at around 6:51pm. I took 2 delatin .. (think its spelled that way) and was in so much pain. I could not get comfortable, i was sweating . I was being a real bitch to my fiancee. the pain was just so bad. At around 10pm i just could not take it anymore. I ad to call the doctore. I told him about all of my pain and I could not even sleep . He recommended i get some motrin and take the pain killersw every three hours instead of every 4 hours. Ohh my gosh once i took that pain regimen i was able to sleep and became a much nicer person. I realize my pain tolerance is low. I have never had children and never had surgery before being banded. Well im 5lbs down from preopt weight.

Keeping it a secret?
I told everyone about my decision. I am in sales and I have to take people out to eat and i will not be able to eat the way I use to. So i told some of my clients that I do take out to lunch. I told my family because I wanted their support. At first they were not supportive but they are coming around. But for me i cant hold water. So i knew I would tell people. and when people see me after my weight loss I know they will ask.

Less than 48 Hours til Banding
Well I will be banded on May 13th. I can't belive that the day is so close. i have been overweight all my life. I have never seen myself thin. I am a little nervous, as well as afraid of failing. Im very excited though. i feel like its my first day of school and i have to have all my clothes in order and everything ready for tuesday. I read that some people did not tell people but i have told alot of my friends and family. I hope that I dont regret that later. I have never had surgery before. I hope my day after is not really painful. how do they give you pain killers to take hope are they in liquid form? well wish me good luck!
