Less than 48 Hours til Banding

Well I will be banded on May 13th. I can't belive that the day is so close. i have been overweight all my life. I have never seen myself thin. I am a little nervous, as well as afraid of failing. Im very excited though. i feel like its my first day of school and i have to have all my clothes in order and everything ready for tuesday. I read that some people did not tell people but i have told alot of my friends and family. I hope that I dont regret that later.

I have never had surgery before. I hope my day after is not really painful. how do they give you pain killers to take hope are they in liquid form? well wish me good luck! :)

Hi I am going in Tuesday too at 6:45 a.m. I had a bit of a panic attack yesterday but called a friend who had a band two weeks ago and she talked me off the ledge. I started my pre-op liquid diet this morning and it's not as bad as I thought. As far as meds my doctor called in my prescriptions yesterday and they are liquids.

I will tell you my friend has been doing GREAT!! She just started her mushies and she is down 26lbs and she said it has not been difficult at all except she got sick and tired of the protein drink real fast and had to force herself to drink them plus she is lactose intolerant which made it difficult and yet she said she has no regrets so I am using her as my role model. I wish you all the best you will do great!!!!! KEEP IN TOUCH
