This is yesterday’s outfit. I pulled these pants out to wear for the first time, and I think I missed my window on really being able to use them. They were a bit snug when I bought them, they are now loose. At the waist. ??‍♀️

Okay, Sophie, this is the BEST denim jacket I have ever seen. I like denim jackets, but don’t have one because they tend to be pretty boxy and not have any interesting touches, you know? This one, though, is absolute perfection.

Thanks! Yeah, they are apparently like a cross between a cat and a dog in temperament? We are actually probably not going to get more dogs once these 2 pass on. Our lifestyle is changing. We are traveling more, and when we are home we are working on art, etc. Maybe when we retire we’ll go back to dog owning.

Possums are AWESOME! I admit, I’ve homecared baby possums. They are adorable. I love it when I see them waddling around at night on my property, hopefully gobbling up all the ticks. I’m not quite sure I’d recommend them as pets, though. But then, I am dying to get a domestic bred skunk, so I can’t judge! ?

I went with a bit of a 50’s flair today. My beloved camel colored sweater is getting too big I may look for a replacement for it. I love the style and the color. I wore the daylights out of it.

Thank you, Sophie! These pants are from Everlane, and I am pretty thrilled with them. I have them in 3 colors now, and intend to pick them up in more. The fit is great, and I like the slim zipper detail on the side. I now have 2 pair of the same jeans from them as well, the cheeky straight leg jeans - in white and in a deeper wash. They fit me by far better than any other jeans I’ve tried on. I intend to get a pair in the light wash and the black. If I’m completely honest, one of the reasons I was feeling ready to hit maintenance was so that I could start to collect a more permanent wardrobe. I may go down another size, I’m still losing and my weight is redistributing, but I can certainly have some things tailored if that happens.
