  1. The scale in my doctor's office is wrong. It weighs me 10 lbs heavier then my scale at home. Though dr is happy with my weight loss per their scale, I wouldnt be. I sounded so lame telling them their scale is off,,,but its true! I came home and recalibrated my scale and checked it and my scale is accurate. I am seriously thinking of bringing my scale to my next appointment...( and i know their scale will weigh me a few pounds higher given its midday) Just so aggravating! My scale shows i lost 27 pounds in 30 days, theirs showed about 17. No way would i be happy with only 17 lost!
  2. I did the at home test and it was all i needed.

  5. I have indulged in Halloween candy n enjoyed....mini piece here n there
  6. Having the candy in the house is too much for me. Luckily, the kids dont like what i do, so i am getting rid of my tempations. Ive had 2 slips already. My sleeve kept it from being a full on binge fest but being so newly post op has me feeling like a bit of a failure.
  7. I think your body is in shock and any surgery can be an emotional rollercoaster. Hang in there. Better days are coming!!![emoji322] [emoji323] [emoji307]
  8. The strange thing was having music, in the recovery room. First time I have ever had music in revovery. Frank Sinatra and the like. It was too loud and annoying and i had to wait for a bed til 5pm.
  9. I wrote letters to each of my children....

  12. Thank you! Your feedback is very helpful
  13. Let me know what moderation is for you. Specifically around this Halloween candy. Is it a tiny piece each day? One day where u indulge? Im so newly post-op n candy in the house is such a big temptation. I was hoping i would be repulsed by it. I hope, as i get time under my belt with no sugar ( 1 goal i set for myself), i will feel less drawn toward it. I dont want to be the sole failure of the world with this surgery. I know some peeps eat what they want n the restriction keeps their weight in check...... Your thoughts?
  14. May i suggest trying other brands of shakes or making your own with pritein powder? I use vanilla unsweet almond milk, powder n then whatever i want , lf greek yougurt, pb2, little piece of banana, may be easier on ur stomach.
  15. 2 of my incision sites are super sore and swollen. Dr. Said it was area they worked in the most, ouch. Other than that, im progressing as expected. I was sleeved 10/24
  16. I see the sugar alcohol content listed but what does it mean in terms of an ingredient Sent from my SM-G965U using BariatricPal mobile app
  17. I was Sleeved on the 24th. Im feeling irritated. Not well enough to do anything of significance but not unwell enough to enjoy just resting. This phase will pass.
  18. Sounds like you found a great PCP!
  19. Every week at WW, you have a booklet that gets stamped at weigh in. Bring tht booklet to ur dr visits during the 6 month period.
  20. Bought this from a fellow sleeve sister
  21. The anticipation has got me ! I feel as prepared as I will ever be, at least with the immediate post op stuff. Want to get it over with and start losing! I am fantasizing about being back to my self, and about all I would like to do this summer. Maybe paddle boarding? Oct 24th, here I come. I only do clear liquid diet the day before,,,,,feeling very lucky. Good vibes accepted.
