Hi my fellow Feb sleevers just curious as to why I seem to be losing and gaining the same 5lbs for the past 4months, anyone else experience this too.

Njgurl got a reaction from paddyski in Anyone NOT taking their vitamins?
well i have been experiencing side pain and had a ct scan done finding i may have nephrocalcinosis which is Calcium build up in kidney. This can lead to kidney failure at worse case scenario, so i am electing to stop the calcium caltrate. When i had my stomac scan prior to surgery they told me my stomach is not the usual oval like shape, its actually oblonged and explains why i never felt full. So although my stomach is smaller i can still get in a full meal (ie protien, side and some veggies) so i dont think im lacking in Vitamins and explains the excessive levels thus far. I have made my doctor aware of my decision and ill get follow up labs and ct scan in like 6 months.

Why do you start it saying that you will still lose more weight, do you not want to, are you trying to maintain.

Very true, as long as you and your team are happy you will do great!

Well isn't that what the BMI indicates your health status, my team is fine with it and I am in a healthy range than before. Just remember being too thin is also unhealthy but I get it being overwieght for so long everyobe wants to see what it's like being skinny but to that's only going from one extreme time the next. I'm all about being proportioned and at this wieght I definitely am. Good luck to finding your comfort zone.

I think as African-American women we have a different goal as far as weight loss, 185 is a good goal. My thing was I want to be proportioned not skinny so im good at 198 because at 5'6" I look a lot smaller than the number anyway. Good luck on your journey you can do it 👍🏾.

I intentionally started my maintenance because I am comfortable where I am, I look a lot smaller than the number on the scale.
