  1. Looking fantastic! Way to go!
  2. Unrelated but I just realized we used the same surgeon!
  3. Lol. Yeah, the word "challenge" in the title threw me off
  4. Ooooh! I think I've figured it out now! Thank you!
  5. I picked up a case of chocolate premier protein the other day and it tastes totally different from the previous ones I have had. Not bad different, just different. I'm curious if they changed their recipe because of the lawsuit against them? Does anyone have any info? Have you tasted the change or is it just me?
  6. Hmm. Having a problem with mfp. Everytime I try to search for challenges it tell me that there are none available. I am on the app. Anyone have any suggestions?
  7. Yep! Same here! Had surgery about 3 weeks ago. I have not really enjoyed the taste of food since. Everything (even things I enjoyed before surgery) has just kind of tasted meh. It's a weird feeling but definitely helps with mental cravings. Sent from my SM-G960U using BariatricPal mobile app
  8. Hmm. I have been having horrible back pain since surgery. I think it has to do with the shifting of weight or something.
  9. Once I'm under 200, I'm getting another tattoo and once I'm under 150 I'm getting a king sized mattress
  10. Yes, as soon as I stopped the pain meds the muscle spasms went away. Hopefully yours is the same way!
  11. I advise that you tone down the emotional parts and get someone to proof read your letter. A letter that is overally emotional and poorly written is not going to get the attention you want. They want to see facts and clear signs of neglect, not how you interpreted what the doctor said to you or how he made you feel.
  12. Are you still on pain meds? I found that whenever I took the strong pain meds my doctor sent me home with I would have muscle spasms
  13. I'm two week post op and would like to start going back to the gym. I've been doing a lot of walking but it's starting to get cold here and I'd like to move back on to the treadmill. At this point point I'm pretty pain free except for this pulling feeling near my belly button (is it a stitch, a hernia?? Who knows?) Just looking to do cardio now and then introduce weight again. How long did you guys wait after surgery to hit up the gym again?
  14. 2 weeks out today and cleared to move to pureed food. I decided to wait until dinner to have the pureed food because I didn't want to have a negative reaction while at work. Took about two bites of pureed chicken with mayo and was full. A little discomfort adjusting to the non-liquid but not too bad. I'm afraid to push it though so I'll probably sticking with liquids and yogurt for breakfast and lunch tomorrow also. Biggest problems right now are pain towards left of my belly button and not being regular[emoji90]. Pain only occur when I move the wrong way. I'm hoping it normal surgery pain and not a hernia or anything like that. Overall, this experience has not been bad at all. Have not experienced a single regret. Very happy to be on the loser's bench.
  15. I got peppermint flavor and I'm not a fan of it.
  16. Yes, I have the same thing. I think the taste is from all the whey protein.
  17. Mine hurts when I move the wrong way. It's the only place that still hurts when I get up or bend. It also hurts if I touch the area.
  18. I'm having the same thing! A pain to the left of my belly button. It's not where any incision is. Its internal. I'm afraid that I pulled something by overdoing it.
  19. 2 weeks off school had been more than enough for me. If you dont have any complications, you shouldn't have to miss much at all.
  20. I have IBS. I was sleeved 10 days ago. I had diarrhea for the first 7 or so days but I was consistent in the way that I would go once every morning but it just happen to be diarrhea. After about a week, I've been having more solid movements. Still extremely soft but not diarrhea which I kind of expect because I'm on liquids only. My stomach/bowl movements are no worse off than they were before surgery so I'm not upset about it.
  21. I just talked to my doctor about the lump in throat feeling I've been experiencing. He said it's most likely inflammation from the tubing they put down your throat while they do the surgery. He said he didnt believe it had anything to do with acid reflux.
  22. I just bought the grape premier drink from Target. It's pretty decent.
  23. Taken* dont know how to edit the post
  24. Going in to get my drain tube taken out today. A bit nervous about the pain but mostly just looking forward to getting this thing out of me!
