  1. Thank you for the info! The stuffed nose is bothering me more than not being able to eat what I want. It's scary feeling like I cant breathe normally after surgery.
  2. Have not tried any of the isopure drinks. I've been doing the premier protein flavored water and this "peanut butter cookie" protein mix that I've been mixing with almond milk
  3. Hmm. I called and they said I can take a allergy pill.
  4. Yeah, I left the hospital on a "full liquid diet". I tried some broth and yogurt today and wasn't feeling either of them.
  5. Having weird gurgling and pain in my stomach but they don't seem like hunger pains to me. I havent had any interest in food since the surgery. I've been tolerating water and protein shakes though. Hope you also have a speedy recovery!
  6. Yes, I got home around 2pm today. Happy to he home but unhappy that I don't have a lounge chair to sleep in. Getting in and out of my bed is not fun.
  7. Hi guys! I had my surgery two days ago and now I'm dealing with a stuffy nose and sore throat. I'm not sure if they're from the surgery itself or I have allergies. I'm having bad post nasal drip when i lay down and it feels like me entire stomach/chest is filled with mucus. Anyone else experience this?
  8. Thank you all! I spoke with my nutritionist and she said the same thing. Focus on water and protein, not calories
  9. Yes, I'm only 2 days post op. All they talked to me about was water and protein. I was so caught up in listening about the water and protein requirements, I forgot to ask about calories.
  10. I hope your surgery went well!
  11. I know I saw a few posts about this subject but I can't to find them now.
  12. I couldn't get the app to work at all yesterday.
  13. My mom had the gastric sleeve done a few years after having a tummy tuck. She didn't have any complications and said pain was minimal.
  14. Thank you guys for all your support! Extremely grateful to say that I have had a smooth recovery do far. Minimal nausea and pain. Some soreness when getting up and down but its tolerable.
  15. All went well! Very groggy and some pain but nothing unbearable.
  16. All went well! Very groggy and some pain but nothing unbearable.
  17. At the hospital now! Surgery is at 11am. Please send prayers!
  18. Good luck to all of you! <3
  19. I hope all the October 1st-ers are doing well!
  20. I'm finding the chicken broth to not be that bad. Not a fan of the smell but its tastes decent.
  21. Sounds like they have poor quality when it comes to patient communication. If you're not that far along in the process, I'd find another place to get the surgery done. What happens after you get the surgery and you have an urgent question regarding your health/recovery, are they going to forward your calls then also?
  22. Doing good over here! Recieved a surgery time of 11am tomorrow!
  23. Ohh, thank you! I'll have to find one around me and try it out!
  24. Never seen these before. Can they only be purchased online?
