  1. What do you mean by pay attention to bowels ? Mines are lose always and several times a day. I’m going to purée come Thursday. I’m worried I won’t lose once I transition
  2. So I lost 11 lbs week one and 19 altogether with the pre op diet. But every time I step on the scale at my house it’s the same number. Has anyone experienced that? I go to the doctor tmrw and I’ll get a better weigh in but just worries me. I don’t want to start stalling early.
  3. I used generic gas x chewables they are a god send for gas. Idk if you’ve had a bowel movement yet but once you do gas seems to subside. I feel so good honestly no side affects, pain or complications thank god. Water is going down so much faster and smoother. Everyday gets better 4 more days until purée and I’m ready because I have hunger pains. Sf food makes me have the runs so the doctor says nothing is lasting in my stomach to make me feel less hungry but purée will help. Good luck
  4. Omg so I’m 6 days post sleeve still on liquids and I’m starving. I wasn’t expecting to feel hungry but I am. Idk all this sugar free stuff just turns me off to the point of starvation. I’d rather drink 3 cups of 1% milk a day -27 grams of protein and once I start purée gain my protein thru can chicken or fish, etc.- than drink another protein shake. I just ate some jello because I was so hungry I couldn’t sleep. I don’t feel weak or anything. Pain is pretty much gone. Any tips to fill full while on liquids. They literally run thru me. TMI but I’m experiencing lose bowels which I read was normal. ANYWAYS HELP.
  5. Hi just wanted to give a positive result to anyone on the fence. I CRIEDDDD until they put me to sleep, but my surgeon was excellent and he talked me down from my fears of dying on the table. I was told he removes as much gas as possible during the procedure, and I litterally had no gas pain it was amazing. However I did have bad pain at the larger incision spot. He said it’s because it’s like pulling out a premature baby lol. Two doses of morphine overnight and here I am day two slightly uncomfortable but barely no pain. They gave me Pepcid before the surgery and I believe that helped with the gas relief. I’m drinking with ease, can swollen my meds daily and absolutely no nausea or vomit, as they have been giving me zofran around the clock. I read so many stories from YouTube videos and was terrified. I’m blessed to have had such a good experience And a wonderful doctor. I have no regrets as of now. Best of luck to anyone in the process.
