  1. Congrats!
Wintereyes got a reaction from Frustr8 in 9 month anniversary today, constant nausea.
Hi I haven’t been here for awhile, I’m 9 months in and down 93 lbs. I was hoping to hit 100 before my appointment which was last week, I’ve been having severe nausea and vomiting, I have an appointment Gastro Doctor next week. I was Prescribed 800mg Motrin I know I wasn’t supposed take it but I started 4 months after surgery, I’m just hoping that I didn’t give myself an ulcer. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

Wow!!! Awesome costumes! Halloween is so fun. I'm dressing up tonight as a Bunny to match our cutie Mr. Butter's and on Friday as a Zombie. I throw my sisters B-day/costume party every year, so I get to dress up twice...yay!

Wintereyes reacted to MargoCL in Not loosing weight and feeling helpless
I am 10 weeks post op and my weight loss has been slower than a turtle. But please remember, you did not gain this weight overnight and these surgeries are not miracle workers. They are tools that we have opted to get to help us lose weight. The weight loss process still lies in our hands. We are responsible for ensuring we follow and maintain a healthy diet and get adequate Fluid / Water intake (upwards of 100+ oz per day) including Protein intake (minimum 60 oz per day or whatever set forth by your surgeon and nutrition team.
I've shared the following photo several times on many forums throughout BP - and it's a great reminder that we are still very early into this and our weight loss thus far is on track for the "average" person.
Remember (as often I am reminded) it's a marathon, not a sprint race. The longer we continue with a slower weight loss, the longer it will remain off (assuming we follow the plan given to us).

Hi, 47 here sleeved 8/6. I'm happy with my decision, But yes I wish I had done it earlier. It has been 2weeks with 20lbs gone. 1 week to go in liquid phase little nausea but otherwise can't complain.

Seems like no one really knew about or understood the Constipation issue. Why didn't out doctors tell about this and how we might prepare better for it. When I called it was suggested that I give myself an enema or a suppository. I mean give me a break, when I put on all that weight over the years, my arms grew fatter, not longer.

I started at 385 I lost 15 before surgery which wasn't a a whole heck of alot but my surgeon said it was ok and I had my surgery on 8/6. I was 370 the day of. I am 2 weeks post op, the 1st week I lost 7 and this week 13 for a total of 20 which I am very happy about. I also think it's going to take at least 80 for people to really notice. It will come in time- it took time to put it on and it will take time to take it off.

I found that my brain "recognized" broths as a "meal" and gave me a sense of satiety. Sweet drinks didn't do this.
SF Jello also retained some of it's "solidity" and helped me feel like I'd actually eaten something.

Wintereyes reacted to FLREDHEADMOM in Slow loss, but inches dropping at least!
I went through a long stall right after losing the first 2 weeks, but finally starting to lose again.
I did measure and have lost between 2" and 2.5" off of each area. That's exciting at least. Anyone else going through that ? Slow loss, but inches going away?
