your human now brush ya shoulders off and think to ya self what was the reasons that you got the band and focus on that. get back on board you can do it. anita i want you to know how proud i am of you. for coming all this way and trust me i know its not easy. and for the weight you have lost. doesn't matter what happens in between just the end resuilt. so sit and figure out what you need to do maybe call ya dr. and see if you can get in for a fill. as it is never to late to start over. im here for you. i was just band 12-15-08. but, before i could get it i had to drop 39lbs i did it plus 4 extra lbs. so i know if i can do it you can.

job well done all. if it makes you feel any better when i started out i weighted 432lbs and im 5'3. im down 43lbs as of last wk. i lost it in 2.5months on my own. i was just banded 12-15-08 and hopin to loose more. can anyone tell me how or did they have a problem getting the liquid in. yesterday i only drank 5ozs of liquid and 3 popsickles. today a little better. also the first wk what did everyone loose. any ways dont be ashamed as you are and have corrected the problem. plus its not anyones business if you dont feel like telling them. im proud of you for the decision to get the band and the weightloss and getting your health back. you rock:thumbup:

count your blessings that you got it and all went good. do as the dr said and have it checked out after you lose some weight.

ok maybe i should call the dr as i can only drink about 8ozs the whole day and feel very tight.

im gone have to try that one. i did have tea today was only able to get down 2ozs b4 i felt like i had eaten a giant steak.:confused: that rocks. but, im gone stick with it and keep trying to get the liquids in but, its hard. but, i love it.this is something i thought i would never say.:shades_smile:

im doing alright just having a problem with the drinking part did anyone else have that problem. yesterday i had 3 popsickles and 4ozs of liquid for the whole day and night wasn't hungry. seems like i get full just taking the medication.

im starting to get the gas out happy about that only problem is im not able to drink the 64ozs of liquid was anyone else had this problem. i had 4 popsickles and 4ozs of liquid yesterday and that is it. seems like alot that they want you to drink. and everyone is doing go good with there weight chellenge im trying to work on mine. :smile2:

ok are we 3days post opt or 2days? thought me dont count the day of surgery. any who hang in there tamar things will get better are you taking gas x. i dont have any real pain. my stomach muscle hurts alittle today i :thumbup:is a life saver. also takeing some stuff for constipation, and it has stool softner in it. glad everyone else is doning go good tell me this how is everyone doing with the liquids. i seem to be having a problem drinking the 64ozs o day. i can only drink maybe 3-4ozs all day and about 3-4 popsickles a day and that is it. what and how much is everyone else eating or drinking.:smile2:

today is day 2 post-opt for me seems to be going ok. passing alot of gas now but, i have gas x's to help with that and its working long with walking around alot. seem to not be very hungry to drink all the liquid at this moment but, im working on it.

thanks so much for all the support and prayers they got through surgery went fine it was only 30mins. no real pain. only had the dry hives for some reason. but, it was under control. glad that i had it done.:biggrin:

hi all, i must say everything went well surgery was only an half an hour , And cuts are so small. didn't have much pain did have the dry hives for a while. but, once it was taken care of it was alright. one thing is for sure it was the right choice for me. good luck everyone lets keep in touch with each other. :smile2:

hi all surgery went good it took 30mins and in recovery almost an hr before i woke up and was talking. i wasn't that bad at all. only thing was i had a bad case of the dry hives for a while but, after changing the medication for the seconde time it was alright. also i think small goals are better as it seems like something reachable rather than having to try and do the whole large amount. thanks all for the support. how is everyone doing.

hi all, my name is china i have surgery in the morning glad the day is finally here. i think im doing alright i feel alright. im off to the hospital at 630 but, my surgery isn't till 1030am. so wish me luck and good luck to those how have surgery in the morning too.:thumbup::tongue2:

good luck everyone, ok yes im alittle nersous but, not much. alittle excited but, more just want it over with so i can start my new life.:thumbup::thumbup::tongue2:. i dont plan on taking anything to the hospital except me as i kno you wont be reading that book nor wearing those pj's. i seem to be alittle worried about the shoulder and gas pain but not much. well good luck to everyone and lets keep each other updated on how things went and so on.

i was doing fine but, now the closer it gets im getting alittle nervse. i think im getting excited to. tell me this they took me off all meds right and i got on the scale yesterday and have gained 2lbs. has that happen to anyone else. i will just be happy when it is over. i keep thinking about the gas and shoulder pain. so we will see will let everyone know how it went when i get back.:tt1::tongue2::thumbup:

hey everyone, hows everybody doing? well im ok welcome back sw.heart181. i thing its from the gas i hear some people say they gained weight a few days after surgery dont sweat it i will melt right back off as your dr has u on a strict diet. and for lonestarloser sorry i didn't c your post sooner. but, here is what i think, you should do what your dr says as you dont want any thing to get in that wound. you have plenty of time to excerise. your health is more important. keep us updated on whats up with you.

hi all how is everyone doing these days? so many of you have had your surgery and next week the rest have theres. welcome mr.mike glad to have you join. and i think that is that is a great goal. i have lost 43lbs in 2.5 alittle over that its almost been 3 monthes on the 18th it will be and i did it in that short of a time. and everybody said i couldn't "sat there a$$es down" now those same people say you dont need to have surgery you lost all that weight on your own. so you look at those same people that said you was crazy and here's a inside joke say "hi hater, bye hater" and thanks pete, im not worried everything will work out. tried to tell them that it was because i hadn't eat. so im ok im getting my band on monday that's for sure. so for those of you that have already been banded tell me how was it. and how do you feel and how much weight have you lost since them. i kno this is for some of the bigger banders tell me how was it. and the pain.

hi all just wanted to update everyone and let them know every thing went alright at my final weigh in. although my blood pressure was quit low 90/60. so i have to go back on wednesday for them to read it again. i told them that i had not eaten since the 9pm the night before as my appointment wasn't till 230. so they just told me to eat before i come. so as of yesterday im down 43lbs. happy about that. see everyone at the finish line
