Texture eater :(
@Matt Z i never would of thought of that, thats a good idea! one they gave me as a suggestion was mix unsweetened applesauce with protein powder and god that was awful it was like the texture of slime that kids are always making nowadays and it was just a big nope for me...they said to do cottage cheese and i hate cottage cheese now taste wise period but i figured id try it after surgery and see if my taste buds change worst case my hubby will eat it bc he loves cottage cheese but its never been a thing for me

Should I switch to RNY?
@Matt Z im considering the RNY with some of the research as a possibility i was just more set on sleeve as it does remove the part of the stomach where ghrelin is released.. my issue which ive been working on now is the always feeling hungry and its why originally i was dead set on sleeve and im trusting my surgeon with where he says which ever i choose he supports HOWEVER im scared of living with heartburn and it getting bad after sleeve but like i mentioned before i dont have it now except for when i eat fried foods which i dont plan to eat afterwards but if there's the chance it could be worse down the road then.. idk... just caught between a rock n hard place

@Screwballski that dinner sounds delicious btw lol... i'm just so torn as i know sleeve is irreversible i'm just wondering what the percentage of sleeve revising to RNY v RNY to sleeve revision percentages are? and i do worry about GERD but also know a lot of people have had the hernia repair while under and been fine ;/ just kind of a catch 22 im hoping it will help mine either way i go

Should I switch to RNY?
So my surgeon is leaving the decision to me but on my barium swallow i showed slight GERD not a significant amount but some..... I normally don't suffer from GERD unless i eat fried foods which cant eat those after surgery anyways... well i've been doing research on RNY vs Sleeve and originally I set out to have the sleeve but i see a lot of RNY patients bashing it b/c they say people don't really lose the weight and gain it back... is that just due to people making poor choices on food late or not enough exercise? or should i reconsider? sorry I am super nervous and just rethinking switching but i wonder if i was just hearing biased opinions from RNY patients...I would like to know if Sleeve patients have had just as good luck with weight loss by doing the things they should or would be honest and say they gained bc they made poor choices...(sorry for ranting) some facts that may help any advice: starting weight 255 at 5'7 tall--- 40 bmi I do have under active thyroid problems but that's it

TYLENOL
Lets talk tylenol.. doc recommended me taking tylenol as we are not allowed NSAIDS. so my question is this? which would be better the gel caps or the little red m&m shaped ones? and then extra strength or regular?

Texture eater :(
Been trying some of the pureed foods stage.. i'm a texture eater so some of it literally makes me gag..pushing myself to keep testing them so i might have an idea of what to buy for post surgery. I know my taste buds will probably change but i need to be prepared as i wont have anyone to run to the store for me...so what are some of your favorites in the pureed stage thats not awful.
