It just doesnt make sense. My doctor didnt charge me for admin fees it was all included in the cost i guess. My insurance paid for 90% and i paid 10%. If my insurance falls through i get my money back though. Hmmm that just doesnt make sense. So do you have a date set for the surgery? Is everything set in stone? Mandi Jo

Hi, I was in your situation last year. I was engaged and we were suppose to have a big wedding. I have been with my husband for 4yrs before we got engaged and being married to him is not any different then dating him... We went to the court house and got married. Ya i want to have a big huge wedding but im wasnt ready for that. I chose to wait and see if i could lose some weight so i can have my special day and be comfortable with myself at my own wedding in my wedding dress!!! I totally know how you feel. Do what you feel is right. And for the record..i love myself too i just dont love the extra on the outside...lol. Maybe this helps i dont know just wanted to share with you. Mandi Jo

Hi, I was reading that she charged you 200.00 for your protein shake....thats crazy. My doctor put me on amazerx protein (amazerx.com). Its around 40.00. I am glad everything went awesome though!! Whats the 1000 dollar fee for ?

Hi, Its my last weekend to eat whatever i please...Then i have to start the pre op diet on monday. I am feeling good about the protein drink...it was actually good and made me feel really really full. I got a tattoo last night and that was fun. Ill be posting my tattoo in my picture album. If anyone reads this how do you post the TICKER?i want one on my page but im so confused on where to put it so it shows up. Blah im only 20 and i feel like im getting old cuz im asking technology questions lol :confused2: On sunday i will be starting my birth control so i dont get pregnant bc i hear that after obese women start losing weight they become fertile and i would rather lose weight then have a baby...AND i dont want to mess up my band!!:rolleyes2: Mandi Jo

I researched the whole milk and band issue today and from what ive read your not suppose to be drinking it cause of the fat in it. Thank you for responding to my blog it helps alot to know other people feel like me and im not just going crazy! Thanks, Mandi

I dont have my band yet but i am being banded on may 12th.:biggrin2: I went monday to the doctors and get all the information for the pre op diet. Well today i needed to go grocery shopping for my husband and i. I decided to get some of the food and liquids i would be needing for my pre op diet:regular_smile:...On my list i wrote Milk...i automatically opened the door and grabbed the whole milk and got half way down the store and realized i cant drink whole milk anymore...:crying:(i have drank whole milk my whole life and i cant stand any other kind)....I felt sad when i had to take it back to the dairy isle and grab some soy milk :thumbup:. I really didnt end up buying anything but fish and crystal lite....im realizing that my best friend (food) cant be my best friend anymore and its a uncomfortable feeling.... Am i silly for feeling this way...Did/Does anyone else feel this way:confused2:? Mandi Jo

Hey Katie, I saw that your wondering about the boyfriend thing. What i have learned is that you have to be urself and when u stop looking...that special guy will be right in front of you. I have been pretty chunky my whole teenage life...i am me and thats all i know how to be and believe me girl, there are TONS of men that love chubby girls! I always had a boyfriend but i didnt worry about having one either. I am 20 right now and iv been married for a year. I met my husband a month after my 16 birthday....iv gained alot of weight since i was 16 and hes still by myside cuz he loves me for me. I am the kinda of person that believes everyone has someone out ther for them... and i kno ull find that person...just dont push it. Focus on you and your goals ...then a guy will fit in there somewhere along the way!! Mandi

Hey, Ya i know what you mean... i have about 100 to lose but i know that we can do it!!! Actually what started this all is that my husband and i decided that we want to start trying to have a baby and so i went to my gyno and she told me that for me to have a healthy pregnancy(also easier to get pregnant) i have to lose some weight... so then i started to diet and that wasnt the problem ...the problem was that i felt so hungry all the time. i would eat chicken breast w/ veggies and 2 hrs later i felt like i hadnt ate all day!! i knew i had to look at other options. So my new plan is to lose my weight and then start trying to concieve. keep in touch! Mandi
