mary it sounds like you went into a hypo glycemic shock ....were you a diabetic before this ?you should start carrying some hard candies to suck on but becareful if you feel faint dont suck on it there is stuff called glucose that is a thick liquid you can but under your tounge and it will disolve you wont chock on it .... dr the dr check your sugar ..

julie what does a thigh lift intail..i have heard some drs go down to the knee? if you dont mind could you explain it ..

esmerela that dr is now in troulbe for seeing pt in california for pre opt screenings and follow up care althought he is lic in mexico ...he saw pt in californis he has no lic in californis ..i was looking into him.....

Margi, When I first went to my pcp and told him i want wls he looked at me and said yeah I will approve you for gastric bypass I said no I want ..lap band he said why gastric you drop the weight fast lap band takes longer and i know that and agree with that he then said first most people get gastric and after they strech there stomacks go in for a lap band .........to mantain there weight loss ... its a double process by the time the doctors stops seeing you for the post gastric bypasss your next money maker will be lap band ....to tweeq the gastric and most ins dont cover lap band but will cover gastric ....and once that ins has covered gastric later down the road they will cover the band to tweeq your maintance...... I hope I make since ...I understood what he was telling me ....basicly its all about the money ........... My boss had lap banding done 2 years ago ..... we spent many a days today and nights we would eat the same things ...i did notice she ate different ( not drinking with meals) as time went on she told me she had lap band and i should look into it ........she ate sweets ...coffee ...wine ..... the only thing was at night she didnt feel the need to snack ......if she was watching tv she didnt need chips to see it (lol) ...it curbed he appetite ....she always drinks diet soda with lemon ..she always said after i get banded lemon will be my best friend.... i hope this encourages you to look on for a doctor that will but your mind at ease but to be honest some of the most sane advice or info is on this board from men and women who are living proof life starts again with banding ........

I was wondering has anyone gone back to mexico for plastic surgery? Many people went to mexico for the band what about afterwards for cosmetic surgery ..If yes what doctors thanks....

My husband knows I am going to do this and thinks I am crazy but supports my choice " as log as i am happy " My friends that I have told ( all size 0 to 4 ) think I dont need it (by the way I am in a 18 working on a 20 ) ..So I give up on talking to people about it ...Thats why I am trilled I found this site !!!!! I have gained something other than weight from this site (lol)...I finally feel someone understands! I have been talking about this for sometime and I think everyone thinks this a process taken littly and its not there are many choices and options to way out and this site helps give light to my questions and fears ! BUT with that being said once I am banded I wont answer any of my family and friends questions.... maybe I am being childish but support starts from the begining not the middle.....

Danciglamb, You are right ...WITH YOUR TX ....It is a fungal rash... Your isurance will definatly cover a tummy tuck...with those issuesMy ried had MGB and 1 year later needed a tummy tuck d/t extra ski ad the fungal rashes... Good luck ....

Hello I am also in Pa .I am hoping my insurance covers this if not I will be going to Mexico but anyway ...Tristate bariatrics in New york did my girls friends and she looks great that is where i will be going if insurance covers it ...There is also Leigh High Valley hospital in pa and milton hershy hospital.

I just spoke with a pt of Dr Kuri who is a nurse as I am also and I am very happy with what I hae heard about Dr Kuri . I am feeling that Sept I will be going to Dr Kuri... I am looking so forwatrd to getting the lap band done..
