  1. I find it was easier to get down by putting coffee in it. Much easier to tolerate. Good luck. Sent from my LG-K550 using BariatricPal mobile app

BajanSleeve - the trick to soft eggs is a small dollop of sour cream in your scrambled eggs mixture and don't overcook them. They will be light and fluffy. Also I noticed in your earlier post your eating nuts. Its too early post o.o for nuts. You don't want to do any damage or pop a stitch before your stomach has fully healed. My laperscopic incisions still aren't healed so you can imagine your insides. Fish, sqaush, chic peas soft cooked, soft cheese, ground turkey, ground beef cooked moist, couple pieces of lunch meat for snack. Stay away from beef/steak for 3months. Focus on high protein foods. Avoid cards and grains. You made a life changing decision, now dig in and make it happen. Just like any weight loss, when you fall off the plan its what you do next that matters! You can do this. 8. No my spleen is now fine. Yes the spleen was lacking blood supply that's what was causing the pain. I didn't know the stomach and spleen share blood supply. Thank you all for your genuine concerns. Just trying to get enough liquid and some soup. Don't feel like eating or drinking. But trying. Each day is different. 10. Thank you for sharing your experience. I was temporarily readmitted for pain management and found out it was my spleen. (Morphine only helped for 30mins) It was angry! Stayed overnight and next day and I was finally able to get off pain meds. Day 8 and things are much better. Though I'm having trouble getting in the 64oz of liquid. Thanks for caring. 12. At this point how much liquid should I be able to drink? I'm not able to get down more than 30ml still. Thanks for your thoughts. Sent from my LG-K550 using BariatricPal mobile app

    Catheter During Surgery?

I didn't have one. I was walking the halls the evening of my surgery. Good luck. Sent from my LG-K550 using BariatricPal mobile app
  14. Day three my spleen was causing serious pain issues. I couldn't take a deep breath. I had scans to ensure there was no complications. I didn't realize your spleen and stomach share the same blood supply. Day five I'm finally off pain meds. Drinking enough is tough but getting easier each day. It will get better. 15. I would be honest with your Dr. I was told straight liquid a week before. Small meal was only allowed two weeks out. You don't want complications. Sent from my LG-K550 using BariatricPal mobile app
