    Appetite back with a vengance!

BajanSleeve - the trick to soft eggs is a small dollop of sour cream in your scrambled eggs mixture and don't overcook them. They will be light and fluffy. Also I noticed in your earlier post your eating nuts. Its too early post o.o for nuts. You don't want to do any damage or pop a stitch before your stomach has fully healed. My laperscopic incisions still aren't healed so you can imagine your insides. Fish, sqaush, chic peas soft cooked, soft cheese, ground turkey, ground beef cooked moist, couple pieces of lunch meat for snack. Stay away from beef/steak for 3months. Focus on high protein foods. Avoid cards and grains. You made a life changing decision, now dig in and make it happen. Just like any weight loss, when you fall off the plan its what you do next that matters! You can do this. 8. Trying to get an idea of what to semi expect right after surgery (gastric sleeve). In terms of stomach pain etc. I've had surgery and my galbladder out but I felt better no pain other than gas and BM. I'm excited but nervous of the unknown in terms of recovery. Any insight is appreciated. Thank you for caring to review and reply. Good luck on your journey! Sent from my LG-K550 using BariatricPal mobile app
  9. No my spleen is now fine. Yes the spleen was lacking blood supply that's what was causing the pain. I didn't know the stomach and spleen share blood supply. Thank you all for your genuine concerns. Just trying to get enough liquid and some soup. Don't feel like eating or drinking. But trying. Each day is different. 11. At this point how much liquid should I be able to drink? I'm not able to get down more than 30ml still. Thanks for your thoughts. Sent from my LG-K550 using BariatricPal mobile app
  12. Thank you for sharing your experience. I was temporarily readmitted for pain management and found out it was my spleen. (Morphine only helped for 30mins) It was angry! Stayed overnight and next day and I was finally able to get off pain meds. Day 8 and things are much better. Though I'm having trouble getting in the 64oz of liquid. Thanks for caring. Catheter During Surgery?

I didn't have one. I was walking the halls the evening of my surgery. Good luck. Sent from my LG-K550 using BariatricPal mobile app
  15. Day three my spleen was causing serious pain issues. I couldn't take a deep breath. I had scans to ensure there was no complications. I didn't realize your spleen and stomach share the same blood supply. Day five I'm finally off pain meds. Drinking enough is tough but getting easier each day. It will get better. 16. I would be honest with your Dr. I was told straight liquid a week before. Small meal was only allowed two weeks out. You don't want complications. Sent from my LG-K550 using BariatricPal mobile app
  17. Thanks everyone. I'm 3 days post up and the gas pains are ridiculous! I can hardly take a deep breath. I've been walking and doing everything I was instructed. Today has been rough breathing! Its only on my left side. Sent from my LG-K550 using BariatricPal mobile app
  18. If all goes well Dr. said I could return to work after a week. Is that realistic? Thanks for your input. Sent from my LG-K550 using BariatricPal mobile app

    Bean broth?

I'm not an expert by any stretch of the imagination, but I would stick with diet Dr. advised. If you stray from it I hear you should strain it for any chunks of food that may be present. Sent from my LG-K550 using BariatricPal mobile app
