  2. I broke my lateral tibial plateau right before my sleeve surgery and it sat me back 3 months. I was so bummed. I am now 1 and 1/2 years out and down to 113lbs. Feeling great Sent from my SM-G955U using BariatricPal mobile app
  3. I have aflac and used it for my sleeve
  4. I weigh myself daily as soon as I wake up and use the bathroom. In my mind I feel it is easier to lose 1 or 2 pounds if I am gaining then to have to lose let's say 5 pounds. Keeps me honest. Never want to get back to where I once was.
  5. Started at 200.5 15 months out at 112 Feeling great
  6. I am 14 months out and down to 113lbs. About 1year out , i was able to drink fluids like I use to. I stay at my 1000 cal a day using my fitnesspal but on Sunday I indulge in one sin treat as i call it. This has worked for me. Been maintaining my weight at 113 for 3 months now without any issue. 7. I have been so blessed, I am 14 months out and I am able to tolerate all foods. Haven't had any issue. Goal met at 113 1bs and still eat small amounts. The surgeon has stated I have been so textbook. I am so glad you were able to figure out the problem. Reading everyone's journey has been so amazing to see how it has effected everyone so differently. Sent from my SM-G955U using BariatricPal mobile app

  11. Thanks everyone, just had my total knee done Thursday 6/14. Not eating much due to pain meds, they make me sick to my stomach. Did make the mistake of stepping on scale and gained 5 pounds. Really I barely ate anything since Thursday. But my knee is soooooo swollen and they pump so much fluids into me while at the hospital. Started with my leg exercise the day after surgery with PT therapy starting Monday. I will not allow this surgery to sabotage my WLS, my goal has been met and I plan on keeping it that way. Wish me luck Sent from my SM-G955U using BariatricPal mobile app

  14. Had my gastric sleeve done 14 months ago and already met my goal. But yesterday I had a total knee replacement done and am very worried about gaining weight from not being able to get around and getting to the gym to do my exercises/walking. Has anyone else had a issue with another surgery setting them back? Sent from my SM-G955U using BariatricPal mobile app
  15. I am 14 months out and I weigh myself daily right before I shower. It keeps me on track. It is easier to lose 1 or 2 pounds than 5 or ten. I haven't work this hard to ever go back. Everyone is different, do what is best for you Sent from my SM-G955U using BariatricPal mobile app
  16. Hi, I am also from the midwest (iowa). I am also 55, 5'2" with start weight of 200.5. I am 14 months out and down to 113. The only sagging skin is some around my belly. I am always being told I am getting to skinny. The Dr at my last visit stated I was normal weight. I do work out 4x weekly for a hour. I am sure this has help me tone up. The loose skin around my belly really doesn't bother me to much, you can't tell with clothes on....lol.....you got this Sent from my SM-G955U using BariatricPal mobile app

  18. OmG......finally have met someone with the same issue as myself. I also feel like I am maybe losing to much as well. My ribs are showing a lot. I started at 200.5 and I am now down to 113. I just had my yearly checkup and they don't seem concern due to my height of 5'2". My goal was 120. Not trying to lose anymore but it keeps coming off. The dr. Told me to eat more smaller frequent meals. I am trying just not hungry. I don't see him for another year hopefully I won't blow away in the wind in the meantime.....lol Sent from my SM-G955U using BariatricPal mobile app

  20. Sw 200.5 Gw 120 CW 113 My goal was getting to 120lb which I have accomplished 1 year post-op which I was very happy with but the problem now, I keep dropping weight. U am now down to 113 lbs. I have tried eating more small frequent meals throughout the day which doesn't seem to be working. Has anyone else out there had this problem and if you did what was your solution? I don't want to get to thin (never thought I ever would be saying I don't want to get to thin....lol) Sent from my SM-G955U using BariatricPal mobile app
