Aflac Coverage

Does anyone have Aflac Short term disability and hospital confinement? Just wondering if anyone that had the sleeve was able to use while in the hospital and off work. My surgery is October 24th and dr will keep me off for 6 weeks.

A friend of mine had Aflac and had to schedule his knee surgery one year after his coverage started. He then was able to receive the time out of work compensation.

Oh wow millerla4 that is awesome! Do you how your surgeon coded your procedure? All I've heard up to now is that AFLAC rejects claims involving gastric sleeve surgery. This is promising...just wish I had the hospital policy!

Yep! I used the short term disability and stay home for 6 weeks after surgery...though I believe it was approved for longer due to my job duties being very physical...
