  1. Time to advocate! Get up and walk, no one needs to help you.you are going to be sore, but get up anyway! Ask for water with no ice Problems solved
  2. They didn’t send you for a sleep study as part of your pre-op????
  3. I haven’t tried it again because I craved it, I did so bc it was available, or it looked good, or I thought I deserved it...or any other silly excuse that I told myself
  4. It sucks! I’ve done this a few times and it’s absolutely true-once you start, you crave it. There’s no easy fix, you just have to detox. Get it out of your system 100%
  5. Can’t watch it. I find it so horrendous
  6. I’ve seen Way too many sleeve to bypass revisions. I went for the bypass
  7. I was really swollen and full of fluid after my surgery, took 2-3 weeks before I saw any movement on the scale. It’s so frustrating, but allow your body time to heal

  9. Check your purée diet, I didn’t ever actually purée anything. I was also told no baby foods

  11. Starts to feel like a “back up” in my stomach. Like things aren’t wanting to stay put. My mouth fills will saliva and generally the only way to feel better is to throw up, but you can’t force yourself to throw up; doesn’t work. Either your body gets its out, or not. If not, the pain builds and you feel bloated and uncomfortable . At least this is how it feels for me.

  20. Last time I was at the movies, the woman next to me was dipping her fingers in the nacho cheese and sucking it off. It was the loudest most foul noise I had ever heard. I looked right at her, just staring at her. Finally she stopped
  21. It was literally the first they made me do on surgery day. Called me back and handed me the cup
  22. Speak to her bluntly, tell her the the information is private and It’s not HER information to share. If you chose to let others know, you will. If she has a problem with you or the path you have taken, that’s on her.
