  1. I have no personal experience with genepro, but.... I have seen articles and peoples comments on here. They are or were going through a lawsuit because there is supposedly only 10 grams of protein instead of the 30 as advertised. Im not saying its not a quality product, just don't want you to short yourself as far as the protein u think u are getting. If it mixes clear and flavorless I would use it but maybe only count it as 10 just incase. My opinion only!
  2. In between the ones stated i will also have PCP and nut appts as well.
  3. I will have one at 2wks, 6 mos, and 1 yr then yearly after that. It doesnt seem as often as most people Ive seen commenting on here. I guess im just getting nervous about post op support. I know can always call. Like i said, just nerves.
  4. I am curious as to how often you all see your surgeon post op - gastric bypass?
  5. Wow, lots of August surgeries.from.PA!
  6. I do have one more nutrition appointment before my surgery on the 28th. I need to ask about it if its not brought up. I know they want the carbs we do consume to be from produce and legumes mainly, but had no idea there may be a minimum amount.
  7. Wait, what? I never knew there was a minimum carb goal? Is this pretty common on most plans?
  8. Welcome to both of you!

  10. Its not premade, but Unjury chicken soup flavored protein powder seems to be very well liked and one of the few savory ones ive seen. I believe it has to be purchased from their website.
  11. @ALFxRNY Thank you! Im getting really excited, wish it was here already!
  12. I lost track of the surgery dates. Did you get your date? I did!!! I'm scheduled for August 28th!
  13. Welcome to the site. I am having bypass about 2 wks after you. It is amazing the help and support you can get here. Hope you enjoy!
  14. I plan to take pics and measurements. Not sure if/when i might share them. Also plan to track and journal alot of what happens along the way.
  15. Good luck to all having surgery tomorrow!
  16. I love my air fryer. My boyfriend works swing shifts and i have a teenager still at home, so its nice and easy when we arent all eating together. Less, fat, mess, and hassle.
  17. My bariatric surgeon told me that the super high protein shakes, waters etc were overkill. He said our bodies would absorb on average 20-30g at a time and sice we were to be taking in a steady supply of protei throughout the day that more than that at a sitting was unnecessary.
  18. I would make sure to run into him in a killer little dress with the hottest man u can find...lol Then I would just happen to forget his name when introducing him to your date if he approaches.... We can always give karma a little help..haha
  19. @sillykitty That's terrible. I would flaunt those curves just to show him what he missed out on. He didn't deserve you anyway. On to bigger and better things!
  20. Mine is only 2 wks. It's a shake for breakfast, midmorning piece of fruit, protein bar for lunch, afternoon piece of fruit, 3 oz lean protein and1 cup veggies or a salad for dinner. Sugar free popsicles and jello as needed in between.
  21. I actually have one of the easier pre op diet as well.
