I’m so proud that I created this group and it has grown ! Such a great group ... 6 more days until my big day !!!! 8/8/18!!!

Had my pre op appointment today! My surgery is in 19 days .. which seems like a lifetime away but I started the program in January and the time has flown by. I’m so ready !!! I have lost 43 pounds total Pre op... which was waaay more than asked of me. I wasn’t given a number of pounds to lose just a weight that I had to be within 5 pounds of. My surgeon said to me today, “remember when we first met you said you feel like the day is never going to come? Well it’s so close.. and it’s happening”

I check my countdowns for motivation .... (they used to be discouraging because the dates were so far away) 1. Preop appt (consents, Anesthesia, liquid for the pre surgery diet) 2. Dinner celebration with close friends, family & co workers (my last meal at my fave restaurant for awhile) 3. SURGERY DAY

@Kcgirl061 that’s EXACTLY HOW I FEEL! Omg you hit it dead on.... I’ve actually been slightly irritated and bitchy lately too just like at the end of my pregnancy.. I have been at this since end of December 2017... so I’m going on to 8 months now lol I can’t take it anymore !!!!!

Any Boston or mass ?

Hey guys! I was informed about the summer group after I created this .. as July comes I think the August group will grow as people get their dates! It will be awesome to follow each other !

Where are you from? The program seems to be different where I am, (Boston mass) the surgeon basically waits for insurance approval while making sure you follow the program to help with the approval.

Looking to start a group for August surgeries ! August 8th is my surgery date! Very bummed that it’s so far .. yet so happy to have a date! Bariatric program start date:1/22/18 finish date- 5/29/2018 surgery date (bypass) 8/8/18
