  2. Alternate between hot & cold water on your head in the shower. Or hot and cold on the back of your neck using a hot rice bag & an ice pack.
  3. Laying eggs is a natural process for birds. If there is no rooster around the eggs are not going to grow into a chick. And nobody likes the smell of rotten ?!
  4. Wow. You just wrote my pain story! You have tried everything that I would suggest except lidocaine patches. They are expensive but I can't live without them. I also wear an neoprene exercise belt around the house when I need heat & ThemoPac when I need heat when I’m not at home. I also take Norco. Some days I take 2 & somedays I don't take any, just depends on the day. So I know I’m not addicted to them. Best of luck finding out something that works for you!
  5. Amazing ! I love it when people pose in the same clothes! Really shows how far you have come!
  6. Both of my daughters did acutane as teenagers. I did not look at all the risks. They just wanted clear skin. Looking back I would only have put them on it if they had cystic acne. It almost ruined one girls liver. Do your research & take with caution.
  7. Wow! That’s crazy! Did the dr save the cancer port for proof? Or take pictures? Going after him is something to look into. As for the pain you are in today, I can relate! I had The horrible gas pain in my shoulder for 3 weeks.! I have Had lots of different surgeries and this was the 3rd worse!
  8. I had A fundolipacation 12 years ago (to correct a hiatal hurnia) that that failed. I had A bypass to correct everything because I was Having acid reflux again. I’m 5 months out & doing great.
  9. Get it checked out. All the protein we eat is hard on the gallbladder.
  10. Do you still have your gallbladder?
  11. I’m still here! Just been busy & enjoying life 50 pounds lighter! How are you doing?
  12. I bought some but didn’t eat it. I just Puréed whatever I had made for the family. My puréed chicken with made with broth was way better then premade baby food!
  13. I’m just over 5 months out. I’d say it took me about 2-3 months. When others started to notice or family members told me how good I am doing.
  14. This surgery takes a lot out of you. My daughter had a hard time going back to work in retail at 10 days. She found it hard to get enough protein in to have enough stamina to make it through a 4 hour shift.
  15. I has that until I started eating solid foods at least twice a day.
  16. Is there a nutritionist you can talk to? One from the hospital or through your insurance? We have Cigna & I talked With one on the phone every 2-3 weeks after my surgery. Best of luck to you.
  17. Yeah! Congrats on shopping on the other side of the store!
  18. Cook veggies in broth to give them more flavor & then use some of the broth when you mush them.
  19. I’m sorry they feel that way! How big is your wife? Is she jealous? Are you smaller then her now?
  20. I have used soy to make mashed potatoes & soups before & it worked fine.
  21. I ate Meatloaf made in my insta pot during the soft stage. I didn’t have any problems at all. The insta pot makes The meatloaf so tender & juicy not at all like when I would make it in the oven. Everyone is different you have to figure out what your body can handle
  22. Yes! It means they are healing. I have always put a hydrocortisone cream on my stitches when they started to itch! I had major back surgery 5 years ago. Image having a 20” incision down the middle of your back start itching! I used hydrocortisone on that too with no problems! Just make sure your hands are clean!
