The Six Month March
Sorry, grammy, but Dragon64 and I have never met. My '64 Dragon lives in Texas! 1964 was the year of the dragon in the Chinese calendar.

Anyone use Premier Protein Clear drinks during pre or post op?
I've used them. They're not bad. Quite sweet - I dilute them with water and ice. They don't leave a film in your mouth like Isopure.

Foamies suck!
UGH! Tried 1/2 oz of thin-sliced ham wrapped around a string cheese stick - foamies again! Not even 1.5 oz and I've been miserable for over an hour. I didn't even eat the whole thing! This is getting SOOOOO OLD!

Leg Compression Device Necessary or Unnecessary?
Oh, no, sorry. I thought you meant the big elastic bandage that goes around your waist. Sorry.

Leg Compression Device Necessary or Unnecessary?
I found it very helpful. I wore mine for 2 weeks. When's your surgery? I'll mail you mine, if you'd like. Unless you happen to be in the Fort Worth area and you can pick it up.

Weight gain over night
The other diuretic I'm on has potassium in it. So, I'm good. Speaking of the 45 minute thing - The doctor injected the lasix directly into my vein because the oral meds weren't having enough of an effect. Then I drove to work. About 20 minutes after the injection, I ended up in the mother of all traffic jams. I was praying "Please, God, just let me make it to the next exit. Don't make me pee in the middle lane of the interstate!" God was kind and I made it to the next exit and there was even a gas station there! I could hardly walk in, in needed to pee so bad!

Weight gain over night
It becomes a "lesser of 2 evils" thing. In my case, the cardiologist thinks there is fluid around my lungs and it needs to be reduced. The surgeon said the diuretics are fine so long as I continue to drink plenty of liquid, which has never been an issue for me.

30 minutes before and after
My understanding is that this is forever. Otherwise foods wash out of your stomach quickly, allowing you to overeat and not feel full.
-
30 minutes before and after
I actually put something (a napkin, notebook, whatever) over my drink so that I don't accidentally grab it out of habit. Then, I set the timer on my phone. I don't like it, but I do it.

Celebrex and gastric sleeve
I took it for a little while. My surgeon had me take it the same time as a PPI to protect my stomach. Sorry yours is bothering you. Hope it heals better fast! p.s. I stopped the Celebrex after a few weeks because it wasn't helping me sleep better (back pain)

I had bought some jeans the last time I lost weight. They didn't quite fit then, I figured 5 more pounds or so. Then that never happened and I gained 40. But they fit now!!!!
