  1. It's the one with Parmesan cheese in it
  2. Gretchen Rubin is an author who posts a lot on LinkedIn. She writes about psychological stuff and tendencies. I'm what she calls an "abstainer", meaning that I am far more successful abstaining from things that really tempt me than trying to eat in moderation. She calls people who can do that "moderators". It is very easy for people in one camp or the other to assume the whole world is the same as they are. But that's a mistaken assumption. Abstainers don't have to avoid all temptations, just the ones that they know trigger out-of-control responses.
  3. And that's great if you eat the 100 cal bag and are good with that. I won't (and I suspect Jess, as well). One 100-calorie bag just leads to a few more 100 cal bags. I will fixate on the bags in the pantry until they are gone. Most things I can eat in moderation, Cheez Its aren't one of them.
  4. He's adorable! What a sweet face!
  5. I can swallow anything so long as I can drink with it. Even the huge calcium pills. But thanks for thinking about that!
  6. I'll try those when I run out of Flintstones. I guess I was under the impression that the chewable vitamins were forever to ensure we got the most out of them. But, I'll be happy to be wrong about that one.
  7. Man, I won't even think of taking vitamins at night. I tried once and it was terrible!
  8. I had to buy a seat cushion to use with my computer chair at work. My noassatall disease has completely caught up with me and my butt hurts! It wasn't very fluffy before and now it's downright scrawny!
  9. Holy crap! That's awesome! You must have a great waist for that style to flatter you!
  10. Congrats on your surgery and best wishes for a speedy recovery!
  11. Do you spread them out during the day?
  12. Just read this interesting article. Thought I'd share https://legionathletics.com/bmi-charts/
  13. Do you take a normal dose or double?
  14. Wow, such a difference in such a short time! Well done!
  15. He's exactly 5 years younger
  16. Saturday is my "official" weigh-in day and the day I change my weight on my profile. I couldn't update that without a big squeal of delight, and no-way could I wait until my Annibirthsary to share! (Annibirthsary = wedding anniversary + my birthday + husband's birthday) Since it's a technical term, thought I should explain it
  17. I'm sorry to hear that, Kathy. From what I've heard, this will make you feel loads better, though. (hugs)
  18. I wondered about this, too.
  19. Congrats on your surgery and glad you found us. The people on this site are very supportive! I, too, am not a sweets person. Broth was my friend. You can even get commercially prepared soups and strain out the chunks. (This is easier when they're warm) Hope this helps!
  20. Glad to see you back! Congrats on your awesome progress!
  21. OK, got my birthday present a day early, but woo-hoo! A ticket to One-derland! Best present I've gotten in years!
  22. Wow, bet you have not trouble getting your exercise in. What fun!
  23. Really, Buzz, you're waiting 'til August to see what part of Texas you want to live in? Are you insane? You move to Texas in the winter so that by the time summer rolls around it's too much trouble to move again!
  24. Congratulations! A wonderful SV and NSV at the same time!
  25. We went to Matunuck beach all the time when I was little!
