please take your Vitamin supplements, some deficiency show up immediately and are temporary havoc and some show up later and ruin your life.

I would have told myself...
The risks you are taking with your health....by choosing to remain fat.....are MUCH GREATER than the risks involved in a scheduled surgery that you've done pre-screening for.
Don't be scared of a low mortality surgery. Be scared of high mortality cancer, diabetes and heart disease as a fat person.

Totally understand!! I was the same way!

I am at day 7 of 14 of the liquid diet and my surgery is scheduled for 1st March. So far so good. I had been having a Protein Shake for breakfast and lunch and a regular meal often with seconds and (zero snacking) for the past 6 months and so far the liquid diet has been pretty easy. My strategy, which I expect is not for everyone was really effective and I am down 93lb since last April.
The only difference I am doing for the liquid diet is I have replaced dinner with a creamy Soup. My NUT suggested Pacific or Imagine Brand low fat Soups. The Pacific Organic Creamy Tomato and Roasted Pepper and Tomato are pretty good. They are about 100 calories per cup.

MY urgery was this morning. I am in ICU and all went well. They had to remove the band and do the sleeve. I'm feeling pretty good so far. I would describe it as the kind of pain you would feel from doing way way too many sit-ups. They are telling me I will be here till Thursday.

Totally normal and justified. It’s an exciting and brave move, so be emotional because you just made huge decision that will better your life. Emotional is good.

No matter how hard you study, plan and want something there is a little bit of unknown still there[emoji37]You would not be human if you didn't have ambivalent feelings the DAY before. Just watch me, my time should and hopefully will be May and the Brave Little Engine that Could will have her own whimwahs. Sure I can talk the talk but can I truly walk the walk when it's time? Sure hope so! You have to tell yourself,you are doing the right thing at the right time and for the right reasons. Mine may or may not be exactly the same but they are right for me.
