  1. I am 10 months post op and took a vacation to celebrate my weight loss (92 pounds total) for the first time EVER I felt comfortable in a bathing suit and it felt amazing! Keep up all the hard work guys because the end result is so worth it physically and moreso mentally!!
  2. I am 8 months post op VSG and have lost 85 pounds! My surgeon is surprised I hit the goal so quickly and can’t predict whether or not I’ll keep losing or stay here. Any tips on how to maintain and not continue to lose????

  4. I had surgery 4/9/18 have lost over 60lbs since surgery so I guess I’m doing okay. I STILL HAVE NOT STARTED TAKING ANY VITAMINS 🤦🏽‍♀️ I have zero energy & I’m sure that’s why [emoji30]
  5. Yeah I heard the same & actually asked my surgeon. Off the record of course they said it was fine to use
  6. I am officially 5 months post op and have lost 70 pounds! [emoji33][emoji33] I’ve been waist training since I was 3 months out & think that’s really helping my shape! Can’t believe I hit my goal weight of 165 this quick!
  7. I got a traditional waist trainer and I wear it 6-8 hours a day 5 days a week (wear it to work only)
  8. Yeah I know they keep telling me to take them- it isn’t a matter of money moreso routine I just can’t remember to take them🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️ I’ll have a solid 3 days then I’m forgetting again
  9. Thank you!! I had VSG
  10. I am 7 days post op and I still have not had a bowel movement. I am still on full liquids only (water, Ice Chips, Crystal Light & Sugar free ice pops are all I can tolerate). I’ve been drinking smooth move tea because i haven’t been eager to take any oral laxatives. Should I be concerned? Or is this okay since I’m only drinking liquids????

    Post op pain

I didn’t have a C-Section but I did have my son vaginally naturally with no meds. This is nothing in comparison. I was just sleeve last Monday 4/9. The gas pain is what I would say was the worse maybe 6/10? Nothing crazy. I took pain meds day 1 & 2 and after that didn’t take anything else.
  13. I was sleeved this past Monday 4/9. Today is the first day that I’ve been able to tolerate keeping liquids down (yes, even water). I was just discharged last night because my doc wanted me on IV fluids until I could keep liquids down. My incisions look good, I have minimal pain in my stomach but these gas pains OMG! Anyone have any tips on how to relieve it? I’ve been walking & infant Gas-x to no relief.
  14. I definitely had that “what did I do” feeling days 1 & 2 while I was in the most pain but so many people told me to expect so I didn’t let it get to me. Keep your head up! Wishing you a speedy recovery
  15. Yes, I can relate to the crunches feeling!!!!
  16. Thanks!! I didn’t know there were adult chewables which is why I got the infant
  17. Getting sleeved tomorrow at 9:30am [emoji51] feeling a mix of anxious, scared, excited, ready & not ready lol I’m also super emotional everytime I get a text wishing me luck I cry [emoji24][emoji24] Is this normal? Lmao
  18. Anyone else getting this reply? I’ve only told a few people about my surgery and most of them give me this response. One of the specialists even flat out said “I see people who really need it and you aren’t one of them” which was kinda discouraging. Am I taking the “easy way out”?
  19. Wow!! Thank you for all the encouraging words! I completely agree! F*ck anyone who doesn’t support this! Btw stats are Ht 5’4” HW 251 CW 235 Sleeve scheduled for 4/9/18
