I am officially POST-OP.
Surgery went as good as can be expected and I'm relaxing in my room. Pain is practically non-existent and I've barely needed to use my magic pain button. Hopefully the next 2 days to by just as easily.

One more day for me. I am scheduled for the 26th VSG glad to see that everyone before me had a fairly easy time.

Kinda nervous but mostly excited. Trying to remember everything everyone told me. Any tips for right after surgery, maybe some things that worked that surprised you? Or anything people didn't tell you but you found worked for yourself? I'll take any info I can get!

My surgery is booked for this coming Monday (3/26) I am so excited.

So I was approved today and I’m so nervous yet excited! My surgery date is April 7th.. not knowing what to expect is scary!

Im nervous, anxious, and excited all at once... Im about to pack my hospital bag set my alarm an watch LMN an try to relax. I have to be up around 4 in the morning hospital check in at 5:30am and surgery at 7:30am

LOL Oh Lort! Last time we had one of the Lose/Loose Rants it turned into a complete shambolic bust-up that was very entertaining. So I'm gonna put my butt in this chair with my loose-ass pants and enjoy the really big shew!!!

Here I go. I can do this!

Have to be at the hospital at 9:00 am tomorrow. Surgery scheduled for 11:15! Here’s how I’m feeling...
• Extremely nervous
• Scared
• Excited
Once on the other side, I’ll check back in as soon as I can.

Much to my surprise, I hit goal this morning! I am 2 weeks short of 6 months post-sleeve.
So 130 lbs, 22.5 BMI.
My health is so much better; so grateful for each of you and all your support!

I don't... my surgery date is 3/29/18. But I have lost 34 lbs since January on my own and I'm currently trying to lose at least 10 more before the date. I'm excited but a little nervous.

For anyone who has a Sky Zone near them....this is an AMAZING work out! According to my fitbit, I burned 450 calories in half an hour of jumping around like a maniac!!!! And way cool discovery.....they do a fitness class on Wednesday nights! An hour of jumping aerobics for ten bucks! Woot!

I like to date women who have had WLS, my previous relationship was with someone who had the sleeve as well. Was great having that in common and we could share meals and exercise together. I'm not secretive with my surgery, it's part of who I am and what I chose to help me live a healthy lifestyle.

I'd stock up on broths, herbs to go in them for flavoring, Protein Shakes ( these can get pricey) Crystal Light in a lot of flavors! I couldn't stomach anything chocolate, so my chocolate protien shakes were useless. I decided to pep up my vanilla ones with PB powder, to make an amazing PB shake! Also, some rum extract and cinnamon for an egg nog shake! I've gotten creative because of food boredom!!

You might also consider giving it to your nutritionists. At my hospital at least they take anything you don't like and give it to some of the low income pre-op people to try.

Heyyy there, I’ve been a lurkeyloo and just wanted to thank everyone for sharing your experiences! All experiences, the highs and the lows. I’m getting sleeved on Monday the 26th and am feeling all kinds of ways. I’ve been doing a lot of self discovery as well. Trying to figure out why I’ve eaten to stuff my emotions and feelings. This us very much a head game and I want to be as successful as possible! It’s been so good to talk about all of my stuff and hopefully let some of this **** go. So pumped to be able to have this opportunity, this window of time to start over. To retrain myself on healthy eating, habits and portions.

Having my sleeve surgery at 11 am tomorrow i can't wait ! I don't know how some of you do two weeks liquid diet I'm on my 2nd day and so tired and hella hungry surgery can't come fast enough. Good luck to everyone. Let ya know after how it went. [emoji2]
