Congrats, the first 24 hours are the worst. Dedicate yourself to getting to 4oz of liquid an hour as fast as you reasonably can so you can be discharged.

Congratulations, my advice would be to start walking as soon as you can. It helps with the healing process and get rid of the gas you will experience. Good luck and keep us posted on your progress.

Hey all!
Surgery went great without and issues! But let me tell you gas pains are no joke lol. I've been able to walk more now that the anesthesia/pain meds are working its was out of my system. I'm struggling to get fluids in but I'm doing better. Thanks again for the kind words
