  1. I've read that rapid weight loss can throw your hormones out of wack. It should work itself out over time. Sent from my SM-N950U using BariatricPal mobile app
  2. I've been sticking to my basic go to diet: high protein meats, Greek yogurt, hummus, cheese, protein shakes. I know I need more veggies and I do want them. It's just the trial and error process seems so daunting. I tried almonds for the first time too and nope! Lol [emoji28] Sent from my SM-N950U using BariatricPal mobile app
  3. I'm nearly 6 weeks out and starting to add new foods to my diet. I had a moment of weakness and had key lime pie for the first time in months. Let me tell you I paid for it! It was so good but I couldn't handle the diarrhea that followed. I know it's a learning process but I'm curious to how long I have to wait before trying foods that upset my stomach again. Any thoughts? Sent from my SM-N950U using BariatricPal mobile app
  4. I'm a little over a week out and noticing the same thing... Sent from my LG-H900 using BariatricPal mobile app

  7. I'm only 4 days out and still on clear/full liquids. Whenever I eat I feel everything going down and settling in my stomach. Like I can hear/feel gasses moving around? There's no pain just and odd sensation to have. [emoji15] Sent from my LG-H900 using BariatricPal mobile app
  8. Hey all! Surgery went great without and issues! But let me tell you gas pains are no joke lol. I've been able to walk more now that the anesthesia/pain meds are working its was out of my system. I'm struggling to get fluids in but I'm doing better. Thanks again for the kind words Sent from my LG-H900 using BariatricPal mobile app

  11. Hello! Like you I haven't seen many people above 350 on here either. I'm having vsg surgery today and my SW was 463. The best thing to do is go in for a consultation. Get the ball rolling. They'll tell you everything you need to know and answer any questions. I was told I needed to be below 450 by the time of surgery. Im down 20lbs from the low fat low carb diet but every Dr is different. Good luck to you! Sent from my LG-H900 using BariatricPal mobile app
  12. Just a few short hours til go time! It still feels surreal that this is actually happening. I've been awake all night just waiting. Any last minute advice? Thanks in advance! [emoji106] Sent from my LG-H900 using BariatricPal mobile app
