Polymorphing got a reaction from justagirl77 in Any February Sleevers?
It's now 10:25 AM on March 2nd.
I was sleeved 28 Feb, only stayed one night at the hospital. I was back in my room and done with surgery by 5 PM... super drowsy. But they got me walking and drinking Water by 10 PM. I puked blood and it was disgusting at around 2 AM, but everything got slightly better after that. I can now drink 2 oz of water every 10 to 15 minutes with only mild discomfort. But wow.. does my midsection HURT. Changing positions, walking, also, my left shoulder was painful all night, I had to take some Tramadol in order to get some sleep. I seem to be doing better but I just want to be up and running. I also feel like a disgusting oily mess and my doctor recommended not showering for 5 days after surgery, so I have 3 days left.

Today is my 4th day post-op and now I can have non-clear liquids (includes nonfat yogurt)! I had nonfat yogurt this morning and it took me an hour to finish a cup of it, I didn't feel overly full or anything, is this normal?
I am glad I seem to be recovering, but the incision pain is still very much real.

Polymorphing got a reaction from celia2784 in March 5th 2018 is my date!
@frust8 I've been doing really well!
Today is day 7 post-op, and only today did my incision stop hurting with every little movement, now it only hurts with very specific movements. I was able to spring clean my make up collection, and get back to my skincare routine.
I lost 14 pounds so far, and I am feeling great! I remember 14 pounds taking me two months of strict calorie counting, using the scale, and meal prep... I am definitely getting into the hype of WLS right now lol! I am regaining my energy a little bit at a time. But the hunger has been real. It could be my stomach acid but each morning I wake up with this gnawing hunger. Liquids, tea, broth, and yogurt help me keep it down by a lot. I am on the full liquids phase (can't have even blended soup! Just strained broth) till Sunday. My NUT is so strict but I think that's for the better. All the patients end up not vomiting even once. I simply can't wait to have my thai butternut squash Soup, and sweet potato curry soup, mmmmm!

Hey Sleeved! Glad to see your post! I'm a 2/28 sleever and I'm still on clear liquids but have slowly incorporated sf pudding and thin cream Soups. I can keep everything down okay, but it takes a loooong time to finish an ounce or two. Probably not hitting my Water goal but it's tough! (Especially when we sleep 8 hours a day.) I was wondering when my first BM would be too. Okay, no one read further as this may be TMI for you. I have been sitting here at the computer and all of a sudden I felt like I had to pass gas. YAAAAY! So I just let go! Wooohoooowwaaaaait a minute. Uh oh. Oh boy. That wasn't just air. I ran to the bathroom and yes, I sh*t my pants. So NOW, lesson learned, I have to sit on a toilet to fart. I'm just glad my body finally moved some semi-solids out of my system. Surely you won't have to wait too much longer for a BM, but if you need to fart, it could be what you're looking for! LOL

Congratulations, I am only 2 days post-op and the pain has been real but it's getting better gradually. Major regret hit on 1 day post-op but it's slowly dissipating now. I can already tell this will be the best decision I have made for myself. I tear up just thinking that I could be at my goal weight in a year, when I have never been normal weight in my entire life (chubby kid and all). WE CAN DO THIS!

Yay, that's amazing! Having a WLS buddy is going to be great. The only thing I'm stressing about is the fact I might get my period day of surgery, lol
