So, here's a topic I know may anger some, but is there anyone else who can't stand when someone just assumes you're religious and offers to pray for you? As an atheist, I never presume to guess what anyone else's beliefs are and I don't go around telling random people there is no god, especially in a time of turmoil or crisis. So when I tell someone I'm having surgery, or about any other significant event, whether in person or online, how about a little common courtesy and not just assuming I believe as you do and leaving your religion out of it?
I'm not looking to debate the existence of god here, I'm just trying to get people to realize that other people believe differently than they do and to not make assumptions.

Last I heard,”Tom, Bert, and William ("Bill") Huggins were three Stone trolls that Bilbo Baggins encountered in the Trollshaws, in Eriador, while with Thorin and Company on their Quest to regain the Lonely Mountain (Erebor)”.

Crap! Running to read the sodium content on the bag! Crap! Well it's about 650mg of sodium all added together--give or take. But I still ended up at only 1296mg of sodium for the day. So I'll score it as a win. But yeah, you might not want to eat that for every meal and you can save quite a bit by omitting the cream soup--you don't really need it to taste good. (Thanks for giving me a heads up on that--I am usually not tracking sodium, but rather sugar instead.)

I haven’t seen anything that suggests they deny you if you gain weight, other than I think one other comment in some other thread. I’m just trying to err on the side of caution because I’m sure as an insurance company I wouldn’t put it past them to try to deny. I’ve read a lot of stories of denials turning into approvals though.

I live in Texas but this is the insurance that I have I had my surgery December 1st 2017 it took eight days for me to get my approval after everything was submitted to the insurance. I had a revision surgery converted from Lap-Band to gastric sleeve.

Thanks so much for your detailed response!! I spoke to my surgeon’s insurance guy (I forget his official title) and started the process. I have an abdominal ultrasound and some x days booked on Thursday I assume to just check out my anatomy, I also have an umbilical issue that might need to be cleared up surgically so that may be why also. Then I have my psych evaluation on Friday - which seems rather soon to me, but I guess better to get it out of the way?! Waiting on the dietician to call me to set up an appointment. I’m hoping that I won’t need to see a cardiologist, but will see. So much happening at once!

That sounds awful! So glad you found a company that will cover. You’d think by now they would realize how much money they save by reducing obesity and not make things so difficult.
