Well like I said I am a mother of 2 crazy sweet little boys and a wife to an amazing man. I have worked with people with disabilities my whole working career since high school and it is something I am extremely passionate about. I did decide when I had children that I would stay home with them until they started school so that is currently what I am doing. I am however in school full time while I am at home so I can earn my degree by the time my littlest is ready to go to school. All that being said, I have been over weight since I was in the eight grade and although I have always been extremely active and eaten what I thought was fairly decent I have continued to struggle with weight issues. I battle the up and downs of the scale no matter what plan I follow or how much I work out. I am willing to put in the work and I think the gastric bypass will be an excellent tool to assist in keeping off some of the weight in more of a long term manner. I have been lurking on here for a while and I just want to start digging in and getting to know some of you so that I have more of a support system in place when it comes time for the surgery to happen. One of my biggest motivations is my boys I want them to know what it is like to have a mom that can go do life with them and that weight does not prevent me from taking part in things that want to go and experience.
